Hi guys,
In a Roto league, I have been offered Chris Paul for Kobe Bryant. Below is the scoring format, should I accept this trade? I'm leaning towards accepting trade. Sacrifice points but get a boost to assists. My team should be comfortable in points. Kobe's stats are expecting to drop this year.
Scoring Format: FGM, FTM, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK

FGM, FTM, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK
7.1 4.3 1.3 19.8 3.6 9.1 2.5 0.1

FGM, FTM, 3PTM, PTS, REB, AST, ST, BLK
9.9 6.6 1.5 27.9 5.4 4.6 1.2 0.3
1. (2) Kevin Durant
2. (15) Kobe Bryant

That trade would be a steal for you. Of course accept it but do expect it to get vetoed unless you are playing with a league of amateurs.

Can I join your league? And if u really need to ask "Kobe for Paul?" you will struggle with fantasy bball..... You have Durant and can get paul, 2 of the best 3 fantasy players in the league.... And yes expect this trade to be vetoed

If you note the categories, Kobe matches up pretty well with CP3. Percentages are replaced by sheer volume, which is where Kobe comes in. There is also no TO category so that hurts CP3.
I'd still take CP3 but it shouldn't be a veto for the purposes of that league.

True... I did just assume percentages, not FGM.

Agree with this

Disagree... I'd take Kobe with these settings.
So... you decide what you prefer

LOL at everyone rushing to tell you to take this trae without even looking at scoring cats... fantasy nubs.
I play in a similar league, and you always, always want to load up on scorers. It doesn't matter if they don't give you much in other cats, a versatile scorer like Kobe WINS you 4 cats while still giving you a chance in others.
The trade also means that you're starting Wes Mathews at SG, which is a big no-no in such a shallow league.
