He's going to get to run his own team. Since he apparently can't cause we're in "SUPER WIN NOW OLD ASS MODE", why wouldn't it be better for him to be on his own team, right?

If Mr. Lin is only capable of being an asset on a team when he's "running his own team" and in full control, and would substitute a chance to win, for that..than maybe letting him have all the control he wants on a team of scrubs will find him well.

I don't know about others, but I sure as hell don't want some kid who has played 20 games coming in here thinking he's going to be controlling this show, that's for sure. Not with the proven talent we have and what's on the line. We can talk about what that talent has done, what Lin did in a span etc all we want. Doesn't change that for me. One of the reasons i'm happy that distraction has gone bye bye.

But as you say, if you take a way the talent, take away "what's on the line" - as you do with the Houston situation- you can take the ''let him do what he wants and see what happens'' approach.... It'll be fun to watch what he does/happens...I'll enjoy seeing the highlights of him hitting a buzzer beater over the Pistons or something every now and again.. Mostly because then i'll be able to flip the channel and watch a team, hopefully, going about it's business for something a little more than SC highlights.

Ahh the old 'lets win more than 2 playoff games' line.. Is that you, Charles?

This team is in a position to do something.. expectations, pressure, playoffs; that type of thing. But yeah, hopefully Lin can put up some good #s for his squad.

They can lock all the threads they want and it's not going to solve anything because the guys who are constantly crying about the guys crying about Lin are just as bad if not worse at letting things go.

tyson did say the right thing. he supported his current teammates which is his priority not lin. tyson & lin are cool with one another i doubt there is beef but tyson did what he did for his current teammates. do i agree with tysons sentiments no. why? because tyson himelf said that lin was missed when he was injured (& who misses a player if he can't run an offense) & if you compare his comments about lin after the wizards game vs his comments about lin not being able to run an offense you realize that likely tyson was blowing smoke. but there is no doubt that he said the right because his duty is to kidd & felton and the knicks.
