No, you misread what I said. In any given loss, the coach is at fault, or he is not at fault. If the team loses a game and you cannot manufacture an opinion as to why the coach made a big mistake, then the team lost the game and is the one to blame. But i feel he made serious mistakes in both of the 2 games they lost this year and that's on him, yet he didn't explain where his mistakes are and therefore did not take ownership of that, and he passed the blame onto his team. I believe he probably doesn't even know what he did wrong, which again is a second thing to complain about with him.
I'm not complaining about the other coaches because we happened to be talking about the Patriots since the hot topic was Welker's statement that started this dialogue. If you want to analyze other coaches or talk about other coaches then that's fine too and I will share my opinions on them as well in terms of what I think. I happened to watch a good chunk of those 2 losses this year and I know firsthand that I saw him make gameday mistakes. I haven't necessarily caught every other HC this year on ever mistake they may have made in their losses, but in this particular case I'm sure about what I've seen and I've followed this league and been aware of the Patriots in general for a long time and have seen countless games that he f-ed up. He does it all the time, in addition to making countless GM mistakes that boggle my mind. The Patriots should have been dominating all of this time and he is the #1 reason why they are not, and not any other single person unless you want to technically blame the owner for letting him make those mistakes and get away with it.

They've been the most dominant team of the decade. Don't know how you do much better than that.

I understand how you feel, and if you are a fan of the team and you are totally satisfied then more power to you. I'm quite certain I would have done tremendously better. Not looking for anybody to agree with me or understand that, not sure how you could without knowing much about me. Just rendering my confident opinion based upon the obvious opportunities I saw to create an uber-dominant franchise that Belichick pissed away. He could have done something legendarily special, and he failed miserably and in a multitude of ways from gameday tactics to roster mngmt.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and assume TSE couldn't outcoach Rich Kotite.

That's cool, just make sure you have some insurance in place first just in case.
If and when I ever have my own team, then you can see what I do with it and I will itemize identical game situations that have come up for me the same as they have for any other coach, and I will show you how and why my choices were absolutely without a doubt better choices than what any other HC (or GM for similar and comparable roster transaction choices) you want to compare me to depending what role I'm in. I stand by my philosophies against any HC or GM current or past that you want to use as an example and I will prove my case to you at that time. Not any of them can touch me as I am the best that there is at this stuff.
I also have a diary I keep that has hundreds of indisputable coaching mistakes that I have recorded here and there over the last 5 or so years. I've got an awful lot of entries from essentially every team despite not bothering to enter countless redundancies of similar types of mistakes. So I've already somewhat started on preparing my case. My "NFL Mistakes" file is a very trim 28 pages and 60,000 characters of NFL buffoonery at this point despite being abbreviated with some shorthand. 100% of these entries are not opinion-based arguments such as a team should have ran instead of passed, they are all indisputable as preventable mistakes that the HC's never should have made if they were as competent as I am.
Challenge accepted

To be honest, not knowing the difference between a penguin and a duck tops them all.

lol I never said I was a good zoologist.
But I do know the difference, it was an honest mistake of an oversight. I'm confident that it didn't offend any ducks or penguins. Thank God they don't have wifi accounts.

You don't have to be a zoologist. You just have to be over the age of 2.

Good grief lol. I assure you I could score very highly on identifying ducks vs penguins, my mistake wasn't one of not being able to identify animals, it was a mistake of not paying attention/carelessness, or you could call it a mistake of memory or recall since I made the post after I had previously looked at the image and it was not in front of me as I was typing later on, but it's not a matter of ignorance of knowledge.
