Season over, indeed. Was an alright run, I guess. With the pitching going the way it did this year, I couldn't convince myself that we had a shot. It's a miracle we won as many games as we did. Thank god for Cainer and Posey.

Honestly, I'm not sure if we win the division if we don't play the NL West for the last part of the schedule. Dodgers will be better next year, along with the Padres. Do we bring Pence back? Timmy is surely going to want out, but who will take him?

I'm very disappointed with the way things have gone this series ..

We had a lot of momentum, our offense has looked great and I was hoping/assuming the pitching staff could get their stuff back together for the postseason.

Maybe I was hoping for too much, but everyone underachieved so far.

Gonna be an interesting offseason ..

Someone mentioned Pence being under contract next season, is there somewhere you can see how long our players are under contract? I can only find salaries for this season, not for next season(s) ..

I don't have a big problem with it. It's do or die, you have to do everything you can to keep it close. Plus they still have long relief guys, Romo, and Lincecum if necessary.
