What frustrates me about this game is that Corbin's substitution patterns seem very much the same as last year: play the starters for the entire 1st quarter, then sub in five different guys, play them for 8-10 minutes, then bring the starting five back in. Repeat for the second half.

His A-team/B-team lineups really bother me for some reason. Maybe it'll pay off down the road, but for now I'd like to see Kanter and Favors split up instead of always being on the court together.

I agree. Particularly with the preseason I thought that we would have seen significant minutes with varying combos of Favors and Al and Sap, and even Kanter thrown in to see which of Al or Sap are more effective with these guys, assuming that the franchise is committed to Favors and Kanter and that either Al or Sap will have to be gone next year.

Although it is only the first preseason game, I'll admit that I am very surprised that Kanter outplayed Favors.
