Robinson is a traditional power forward, but the Kings have a greater need at small forward.

Bulls fan here so feel free to correct me if I get anything wrong. As for the pick, I think you guys got a steal. I'm not going to come out and say Robinson will be elite or anything, but I can see him becoming a solid 20/10 guy if he gets the chance.

As for what I've read about playing him at SF, I just really don't get it. I mean some PF's can slide to SF and vice-versa, but I don't see Robinson being one of those guys. Admittedly I don't know huge amounts about him and haven't seen as much footage as you guys probably have, but I just can't see him being a SF. I mean a guy like Garnett is a PF who can play SF because even though he has PF size, he's got SF speed, athleticism and perimeter skills. To me, Robinson has always seemed like more of an Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer type physically - undersized a touch for the PF spot but quite solid/bulky and not athletic enough to roll with most other SF's.

And you wonder why players didn't want to be drafted by the King's.

Way to place your players in an environment that is optimal for their success and in an environment that can maximize their potential. (I'm sure Tyreke, Jimmer, Thornton, etc., etc., all agree).

Blame the Kings for stacking two positions with very few players who actually fill the needs you have. This is going to be just like Carl Landry and JJ Hickson before him if he can't play SF. Somebody gets left out in the cold. This is still Petries mess, from the top on down. Hopefully it works but as I've stated before, if it doesn't no more sitting on his hands, he can't let last season repeat because this time the assets that will diminish in value are this teams TOP assets. Very dangerous ground with little time to waste.

I heard that smart thinks that Robinson can be an elite defender. he already thinks that Robinson is a very good defender with room to become elite.

I am really confused because everything i have seen from Robinson suggests that wlhe will be a mediocre defender who lacks lateral quickness.

Anyone else confused by the idea that Robinson is going to be a defensive specialist.

Do you guys expect Jason Thompson to start over Robinson? Im thinking about dropping Biyombo for him in fantasy, he was pretty beastly at the end of last year.

Drafting Kawhi over Jimmer would save us so much trouble.

No way man. Think of all the jerseys and merchandise Jimmer sold last June. INSANE amounts.

See, people still don't see the problems here. Draft Leonard and enjoy him....at C, PG, or SG.

PG: M. Thornton
SG: T. Robinson
SF: D. Cousins
PF: T. Evans
C : K. Leonard

"We know none of our players are playing their natural position, but we feel they can get by in the new positions they are forced to play at. Our team creates a huge mismatch at every position. We have the best rebounding SG/SF duo in the league, our bigmen down low are faster than any other bigmen in the league, and our PG is willing to pass the ball because he doesn't want to play point guard but has to" - King's Front Office.

Maybe our roster is actually ran by Skip Bayless

Create the best roster using 1st Pick selections
