The difference in this game is Jason Kidd... he stinks. When Felton was on the court, he jammed up the Wizards offense at the point of attack, and he pick-and-rolled us to death at the other end. Kidd can't defend anymore and he can't run a screen and roll because he's not a threat to penetrate.

Wittman likes Crawford and so does Ernie. Reminds me of Flip/Blatche/Grunfeld.

The difference is Beal was the #3 pick and he is clearly better than Crawford. It is only a matter of time before JC is a sixth man.

I don't think it be anytime soon. He was wizards leading scorer last season that will give him a excuse to keep starting no matter how bad he stinks it up out there.

Very interesting frontcourt. Ariza, Singleton, and Vesely.

Jan Vesely did not back down. That is the best part of Jan's game. He is scrappy. He does dirty work well.

It's just preseason, but I think Randy Wittman is going to be a good coach.

I never felt that way about Flip Saunders but I do about Randy. He subs liberally and his guys play with a chip. The Wizards just need to have Nene and Okafor healthy, because I'm not worried about the coaching.

Get up on Novak and force him to beat you off the dribble, which he can't. They're giving him way to much air space on his jumpers.

Beal played really well. If he can keep this up he should be starting in no time.

Real impressed with his ability to take the ball to the basket.

I agreed with somebody on the Knicks' board that Beal is the best player on the team. Nene is when healthy, but that's not often enough to count on.

Beal is better than Wall, but that's only going to help Wall when John returns.

Beal looks improved from summer league, where he was good but not terrific. So far, he's looking terrific, especially for a 19-year old.

Amazing. Only his second game.

And Webster is showing well again. I love the fire in his game.
