Anderson Varejao?
I assume with the Cavs this vet is on the trading block. I wonder if the Nuggets front office would be interested. I like him when he is on the court, but I also realize he has been sidelined a lot recently. I know Denver has the extra pieces needed to acquire him. Would you want him... and how much would you give up to get him?

I think the Cavaliers are planning to keep him till at least the deadline, So that his value could go up. The only way he can stay healthy Is if his minutes are limited. As somewhat of a Cavs fan, I would think Chandler, Mozgov and a pick? I'm not good with trades...at all.

Varejao is a highly paid hustle guy who has been having trouble staying healthy, we have plenty of guys who are willing to hustle, and while they may not be as good as him right now, I think they all have the chance to develop some better skills long term.

I agree with the point about staying healthy. But when Varejao is on the floor I think you are undervaluing him Rebel. Stepping up and taking a charge, playing team defense, etc is very valuable. Having a healthy Varejao replace Mozgov in the starting line-up THIS season would be a big upgrade with McGee backing him up.
I wasn't thinking the Cavs would want Chandler back though. The Nuggets have cheaper prospects.

Because of his high salary, I don't think Varejao is worth Chandler, Mozgov and a draft pick.

Re: Anderson Varejao?
It would be interesting to find out what the Cavs would want. Personally if it was me running the cavs I'd be looking for Hamilton, picks, and short deals coming back... but that might not be what they want. The Nuggets certainly have the pieces to make the deal.
The injury risk is all the concerns me. I know Varejao would be great to have against the few talented big men out there.
