Those aren't new versions, they were "concepts."

as much as I love Wade, I'm literally loling at the possibility of him playing 8 more years.

5 years tops, then we need a new SG to pair with a 32yr old LeBron and a 33 year old Bosh.

He even said it in an interview with Sole Collector.

Yup. But these, as written in the caption under them, are concept renderings for the version we've already seen. In fact, if you read the interview, you'd know that the US version won't have the extended heel. The Chinese version has it because they mostly play outdoors. We haven't seen the US versions yet, and they're not finished.

The deal is intended to extend passed his playing career. Ideally it'll go longer than 8 years. He hopes to permanently be involved with the company.

Yeah, doesn't feel like that long ago I was watching him fly around with Caron, Lamar, Eddie, and BG as a rook.

I posted Dwyane's publicist's husband showing off the tip of a different colorway, looks like the pub herself has the same pair.

OK, what I heard originally was apparently wrong.

Just over a decade ago Iverson signed a lifetime contract with Reebok when he was 26. The length of Wade's deal has nothing to do with how long Li-Ning thinks he'll continue playing.

Honestly, this and the prospect of being one of the richest athletes makes the choice of going from Jordan brand to a newer brand an easy choice. Not to mention in a market such as China, I don't Wade cares if he sells in the U.S. if he's booming in China.

Good looks for the pic with black and red!

Looks good.

10 years for 100 Mil and profit sharing.....smart move by him. He is thinking past basketball. He is a business man and setting up his future.

Can't be mad at that.

Didn't like how the FLY WADE 2 PE didn't get any love or creativity. I read an article where they said Wade was hard to work with, but he probably wanted input on his signature shoe and they probably didn't want to hear it. He has more control.

I'd cop them.

It wasnt that he wanted too much input, they just thought he was too indecisive.
