I'm with you there. I liked the individual Around the NBA threads with the date in the title. Oh well.

Exactly. When the regular season starts, I'll be one of those posters creating Around the NBA threads with an actual date on it. Just like last season. This has become a cluster fk.

Apparently Lin is not the choir boy that he wanted everyone to believe he was. Don't want to say I told you so but....

It said what was on the headline.

If you are going to refute an article like that due to no quotes. Then why do you believe every article that says Dolan didn't sign Lin due to personal feelings. There have been no quotes for it.

Can't have it both ways.

Inability to guard Westbrook should not be the bar.

Let's see if Felton rocks him for a triple double.

Russell Westbrook has potential to do that to anyone, so if the coaching staff truly questioned Lin for giving up points to one of the best offensive PG's in the league in his first game back since a season ending injury...they're morons.

But, as I've said before, the fact that he's still not recovered is a bit scary.

look like the heat are going to start shane battier at power forward this year there going to have hard time rebounding the basketball.

Erik Spoelstra has apparently decided upon a starting lineup for the Miami Heat for the coming season, with Shane Battier at power forward.

Chris Bosh will start at center and LeBron James will slide down to small forward.

Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers will start in the backcourt.

Battier finished last season as an undersized power forward.

I don't know how NY Daily is able to find these "person with years of NBA experience" as their sources. Isn't this kinda baiting the new rule is trying to prevent?

i personally don't think they wanted to sign Lin from the get go. I'm just saying the article doesn't say anything which it doesn't. But if you want to go that route, then I guess you also believe Melo wanted to be traded? As you say, you can't have it both ways.

Yeah, I don't like this flip-flop thing. One day he's 100% ready to go, and one day he's not quite there yet. You can't blame people get on his case on the "85%" comment...

Heat can get away with it because Lebron and Wade rebound so well and play much bigger.

Lebron is bigger and stronger then a lot of PFs

I shut down the new thread that was posted about this, but it's a legit article from a news source and it's on the wiretap...It warrants discussion somewhere, though I'll try to keep an eye on everything and make sure the conversation doesn't turn into a mess of insults and fighting. So far, I think the discussion has been alright.

Call it what you want but plenty of people clearly believe his crap or he wouldn't keep writing it.

Interesting. Fans get upset when the nypost, nydn, and media (there was just a thread bashing bill simmons and zach lowe) write articles (or talk) about melo/knicks, and tell us to stop believing the bull crap. But when it's about a player the fans don't like, they post the articles and preach it as truth. I do not understand the logic.
