Week 6 Starter Advice

Post#1 » by MilTownBucks » Tue Oct 9, 2012 6:16 pm

Maybe early but..

I have Antonio Gates, Heath Miller, and Anquan Boldin to choose from to fill 2 spots.

I really dont want to start Boldin but not very confident that Gates is going to get me any points yet again this week.

Heath Miller for sure, Tennessee is really bad. Baltimore is at home, maybe Flacco plays better, so Boldin?

My question is: How bad do you think Tony Romo is this week? Over/under 8 points?

200 yards 1 touchdown 2 interceptions looks reasonable.

I would say 8-12, I have both Rivers and Romo and I am going Rivers this week. Romo has enough talent on that offense to blow up for 25 though, or he could throw 37 interceptions...he is a frustrating fantasy qb

Standard scoring pick 2:

torrey smith vs Dal
antonio brown at Ten
decker @ SD

Who should I start in place of Bennett?

Cook vs Pit
F Davis vs Min
Celek vs Det
Do not max Vuc!

Texans DST (home against GB) or Patriots DST (@ Seattle)? The Pats are super aggressive, force turnovers, and Russell Wilson is terrible. On the other hand, Seattle is notoriously tough at home. The Texans have been elite, but Rodgers is due (I don't buy that they'll underachieve all season) and Cushing is done.

RG3 or Kolb????? I dont trust RG3 what if hes limited? Plus Kolbs matchup, and im starting Andre Roberts as a WR this week, so kolb/roberts combo..i also have Morris starting...i just cant decide.

If RG3 plays you can't sit him. Kolb's max is 20 where RG3 is usually going to pass that.

Will Shonn Greene finally have himself a game or do I take a chance on woodhead or Bolden for the patriots and hope for 5 - 8 points?

Greene. I don't see woodhead or bolden doing much against the Seahawks

Yes. Just because Kolb has a great matchup doesn't mean I'm going to trust him. Now I played him over Romo a few weeks ago (Dal vs Chi), but Romo can't get me any rushing yards or rushing TDs. RG3 can have a bad game and still do good.

That's nice. My opponent had Rodgers and Nelson.

Oh, and I am a Texans fan, AND I was using their D/ST as I have all season so far.

Clearly, I win...at losing...or something.

I finally had a good week, won by over 50. My RBs still had like 8 points combined.
