That was the team we were all expecting to see this season.

This just makes the game last week more frustrating.

Nice statement game. Packers played thier A+ game. Reminded me of the playoff game against the Falcons. Great coaching, gameplan, great everything. I needed to see this though. This season reminds me of the super bowl season. With all the injurys it was prety amazing.

Who knows what the future holds but this team will be in the playoffs. Maybe they just get in or maybe they get a first round bye still. This game shows that when they are on no team has a chance.

Also I have been so wrong about James Jones. I don't want Jennings to start over Jones. I feel good about Jennings leaving now. Really feel good with Nelson, Jones, Cobb now and in the future.

No doubt Jennings is gone, probably draft a WR in the first 3 rounds. Although with Jennings recent injury history and age he may not get the huge deal he thought he was going to get so who knows, maybe he comes back on a reasonable contract.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I find all my tweets are much better if I end every thought with baby, baby.

I think I could live without Finley AND Jennings. If we go into the draft/FA, we could bring in a tight end and receiver in a much more cost effective manner. Extend Rogers, Matthews, and Raji, and bring in a tight end, receiver, and running back through FA and the draft.

I feel the same way.

I might not even extend Raji depending on what he wants. No doubt he was phenomenal down the stretch during our Super Bowl run, but he's been pretty ordinary ever since.

I'd love to see Finley rebound but I don't think I've ever been more down on him. He's turning into Chuck Knoblauch before our eyes. Sad to see.

Didn't get to see the game, but the box score makes me smile.

I'll be severely disappointed if we don't head into the bye at 6-3. Dome road game, Jags/Cards at home. Need to get all 3.

I'm assuming that we'll lose DJ Smiff for the year from the sound of it. Shields and Perry should be back?

Yep sounds like Saine and Smiff are finished for 2012.

Losing DJ Smith is a huge problem. After Clay, he's really the only other LB we couldn't really afford to lose.

I love Smiff, but ILB is the most replaceable position in our scheme in my mind.

6-3 is essential. Go into the bye on a roll, then 2 tough road games.

It would be nice if the Bears drop a few coming up. I don't think they are as good as their record, but they are our main competition for the division and we are in a bit of a hole with 3 loses. Let's wrap up the division early, baby.

Wrap up? Early??

Do you remember yesterday when they weren't even going to make the playoffs? Lets attempt to regain some perspective.

1. Reread the begining of the game-thread and I always thought this was a playoff team. Way too much football left and no dominate team in the North.
2. By early, I meant like week 12. And I would think adding a Skip Bayless "Baby" to the end of my quote would be enought to know I was half-joking.
