Nice to see Foye have a good half. Jazz are a really deep good team and I give Corbin a lot of credit in make huge changes on the offense as well as the defensive side of the ball. Maybe he is a good coach!

I don't like Foye as a PG. I hope it is not something Corbin will insist on during the season if he will have other options. Foye can no doubt contribute, but even he said he is more comfortable at the 2 than at the 1.

Kanter looks good. Love what he is showing in the pre-season.

if kanter has this year in kentucky he can be the number 1 in draft, he is a true center in this league

realy good draft at 3

i dont know about #1, irving is pretty damn good. but his chances to go #1 would absolutely improve.

i definitely think he is a good pick at #3 and that he will justify it over time.

Did we watch the same game? I thought Foye looked terrible. He's clearly not a point guard. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see the Jazz sign Quinn so they have three actual point guards until Earl Watson is healthy.

He is clearly not a PG but this system doesnt really require one, as basically multiple players iniate the break. He shot well and played pkysical defense. He needs minutes thus will be getting some of them as a backup PG.

In the preseason? Definitely.

Don't get me wrong, I'm really excited about the improvement he's shown so far, and he clearly needs at least 20 minutes a game, but he's not ready to start for a playoff team just yet.

Jazz are so deep Im just worried about where the minutes are going to spread out. I can see Evans getting no minutes and Burks getting limited minutes and they deserve to play a lot more minutes. Jazz really need to trade 2-1 but injuries could solve the problem.

Is it too early to throw out any notion of Burks or Foye playing point guard? That Foye/Burks backcourt was awful to watch.

Since we're playing Flop City, what's the over/under on total flopping fines for the Clips this year? $100k? $150k?

Foye - no, Burks - yes. He is not getting a lot of minutes in that position to show what he can do at that position.

the jazz played awful half court offense in the third quarter

Jazz half court offense is a problem, thus pushing the ball (which they didnt do in the 3rd qtr) is needed. Foye over Tinsley easily at back up PG. He is simply younger and defends better.

I've been pretty unimpressed with how they've run the break as well.
