10 Bold Predictions for the year

1. Bobcats will have highest increase in wins across the league.
2. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will lead the team in rebounding.
3. Bobcats will lead the league in blocked shots.
4. Ben Gordon will be our leading scorer.
5. Tyrus Thomas will lead the team in PER.
6. Matt Carroll will go off for more then 20 points in a game.
7. Biz will shoot higher then 60% from free throw line
8. Bobcats will lead the league in Steals.
9. Ramon Sessions will start more games then Kemba Walker.
10. Mullens will attempt more 3 point field goals then 2's.

It will be fun to see how many of these come true.

1. MKG leads the team in rebounding (with Biyombo and Mullens close behind).
2. Mullens leads the team in scoring.
3. Ben Gordon sets the team record for points in a single game (44 is the current record, right?)
4. Gerald Henderson shoots 30%+ from distance.
5. Ramon Sessions contends for 6th man of the year, leading the team in assists per game with nearly 7apg.
6. Kemba Walker cracks 40% from the field.
7. Matt Carroll and Reggie Williams regain their shooting touch and shoot around 40% from deep.
8. Tyrus Thomas proves he isn't a complete bum.
9. Biyombo proves himself to be a very good post defender and the Cats finish in the top half of the league in defense.
10. The Bobcats manage to pull off another Ben Gordon-type deal that gets us another pick.
11. Jordan grows 4 inches, becomes 30 years younger and plays power forward for us.

1. BizzyB sets a new Bobcats record for blocks in a game.
2. MKG sets a new Bobcats record for steals in a game.
3. Gerald Henderson hits 40 in a game.
4. Ben Gordon hits 10 3's in a game.
5. Cho shocks the league by switching Hendo for Tyreke.
6. Mike inspires Tyreke to become a 25 ppg player from the two.
7. Kemba finishes the season with 8 assists per game.
8. Bobcats finish with the 5th worse record, but still get a top 4 pick.
9. Diop, Biz, and Matt Carroll are traded for a resigned Josh Smith.
10. Ben Gordon asks for an extension to play with Tyreke and Josh long term.

1. Coach D ends the season in the running for CoY
2. BG wins 6th man of the year award
3. Mully ends the season shooting more 3's than rebounds and blocked shots combined
4. We play above .500 Vs West Coast teams when playing them in their stadiums
5. Coach D doesn't receive a T all season
6. Kemba will average 5+ FTA's per game
7. MKG takes Gerald Wallace's old corner 3 and makes it his own
8. Tyrus in consideration for MiP
9. We have 1 season ending injury to a main player by Christmas
10. All media, league officials, opposing front offices and fans finally realize that MJ is the owner and Cho is the GM and Higgins is president of basketball operations

1. mkg starts off the season slow, while other rookies like lillard and beal start off on fire. we have to listen to 12 months of anti MJ comments.

2. tyrus is still awful

3. biz shows no real improvements

4. gordon forgets how to shoot 3s for the first time in his career

5. both kemba and sessions play like they want to be the others backup

6. reggie demands a trade in feb after being burried on the bench

7. mully still cant defend or rebound

8. hendo shoots less than 30% on 3s

9. we set record for most loses in a row after we lose first 5 games of season

10. and stun goes on general board to declare mullens is the next dirk after mully has a good game.

Sad thing is that every single one of them are completely realistic.

1) Biz improves his offensive post game but is unable to be a presence defensively outside of blocking shots.
2) Mully becomes a streaky but still go to 3pt threat.
3) Fans begin calling for Dunlap's firing around the all star break.
4) Kemba improves his assit numbers but not his fg %.
5) MKG starts the season out really strong (ROY candidtate) only to struggle with injuries in the 2nd half of the season.
6) Jeff Taylor starts in his stead and puts up quality minutes.
7) Matt Carrol shots above 40% from downtown on the season.
8) We make zero trades during the season.
9) Ben Gordon is considered for 6th MOY and MIP but receives neither award.
10) 2nd worst overall team but still end up with the 4th pick.

1. The Bobcats will exceed the current Vegas Over/Under odds of 19.5 wins.

2. Kemba Walker will solidify his starting spot as the future PG in Charlotte.

3. Gerald Henderson will have a parallel or slightly less productive effort than the 2011-2012 season.

4. Ben Gordon will lead the team in scoring.

5. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist will be named to All-Rookie 2nd Team behind a solid season.

6. Byron Mullens statistical boost will be used by Rich Cho to make a blockbuster-like trade at the deadline for a player a la DeMarcus Cousins or Josh Smith.

7. Bismack Biyombo will continue to progress at a minimal rate, but he will have a strong finish to the season.

8. Tyrus Thomas will have sporadic results in improvement, but not enough to make him a asset via trade.

9. Jeffery Taylor will average less than 12 minutes per game.

10. The Bobcats will defeat at least one of either the Lakers or Heat during the regular season.

Jesus, Fats, this is brutal. In particular #9 would be just awful, this team does not need more history-making badness.

...and let me guess. Orlando outtanks us, we're the second worst team in the league and we get the 5th pick and the Blazers and Pistons are the two best teams in the entire NBA, yielding us the 29th and 30th picks?

1.Haywood averages 8/8/2/25 minutes p g
2. Hendo is traded.
3. Biz is traded
4.TT is traded
5.Gordon averages 22/6/4 off bench .
6.Walker is switched to backup point. Session starts and averages 12/8/2.
7.MKG wins rookie of year,starts and averages 16/10/3/2/36 minutes p g
8.Mully averages 16/6/2/33minutes p g
9.Cho makes blockbuster trade before trade deadline.
10.MJ fires Higgins

2. Hendo gets traded
3. Haywood puts up Kwame Brown numbers 7 and 7
4. TT is actually not useless
5. Sessions avg 8 and 4
6. Gordon easily leads this team in scoring at 18 per.
7. Biz continues to get better but is still not that good. 6/6/1
8. Mullins is second on the team in scoring 14 per
9. Cho makes a game changing trade that forces us to give up kemba and/or biz and hendo
10. Baby Higgins is cut and never heard from again. Sr Higgins is fired never to be heard from again.

The three worst teams always pick no lower than four. Thank God! :P

and the Blazers and Pistons are the two best teams in the entire NBA, yielding us the 29th and 30th picks?


I am SO THANKFUL that there is no chance of this happening. Considering how both teams look currently I expect we will have both of those picks no higher than 16 in 04 with the Piston pick a late lotto. If LA stays healthy all season we might get the Blazer pick this year as a late lotto.

#10 is the only thing making this list bearable.

I think people are hoping to trade Hendo, because they want Shabazz in the draft this summer. Personally even if we do pick Shabazz I still want to keep Hendo, and freak the league with a monster two guard rotation that rivals the ones in Miami and Oklahoma. But I am certain that if Cho thinks he can pick Shabazz draft night Hendo will be shopped for another lotto or young big man. :roll:

We got a pick with only one year's worth of lottery protection from a perinel lottery team for Magette. 8-)

shooting guards are a dime a dozen and hendo is not a very good one. No need to over paid for a guy that is good has his ever going to be on a team that is going no where. if he is cheap so be it but i would rather look toward finding his future replacement.
