Probably Drummond and JONAS.

Robinson vs. Waiters, but for different reasons than Kyrie vs. Rubio :D

Nah man. Rivers vs Waiters.

Austin's working hard to get in this conversation. Can't believe you're trying to screw him like that.

Agreed. I think that a most of the rookies looking good in preseason will either disappear from rotations, struggle noticeably, or look good in terms of PPG for bad teams, while playing poor defense.

Rookies rarely have big roles in helping teams win. They best you hope for is that they can play significant minutes without hurting the team, then get better in later years.

Usually, a player making a lot of money is given minutes regardless of whether or not a rookie is better. Kawhi Leonard was better than Richard Jefferson day one last season. However, it took a while for Leonard to displace him. Same with Faried getting Nene traded (not that Faried is definitely better, but he started after room was made via trade).

What I think is going to happen is a lot of players will end up losing jobs to rookies in this class.

Before all is said and done, I think he and Jae Crowder will be two of the bigger steals of this draft. Both guys play like quality starters, already, IMO.

nah MKGs been doin what he was expected to do, hes shut down every opposing SF he's faced including Durant. lockdown defender and getting boards, steals and blocks. his scoring has been weak as expected.

I am biased, but I love what I've seen from Jonas so far. I've also been liking how Beal is playing.

Jonas looks like the real deal to me. When the Raps played the Wiz I was shocked by how big, strong, and agile Jonas V is for a young guy. He's very well coordinated and he finishes with authority. He has very nice touch, too, around the basket. That guy is going to be a beast.

Beal is smooth. He's the best rookie the Wizards have had in decades. (Webber was a rookie with Golden State). Beal plays like he's been in the league a long time. He lets the game come to him. He doesn't seem to have any bad habits or real weaknesses to his game.

I think Jonas' size is the most surprising thing right now. Pretty much everyone agreed he would have a hard time contributing from day one...then he came into camp at nearly 260 lbs, and the expectations have rightfully changed.

Even if I'm a Jonas homer, but the real shining rookie big man for me, bar Davis, is Andre. I didn't expect him to be so mobile and quick-footed for a 270 pound beast. Everyone talked about him being really raw, but I've seen alot of veteran like moves, great defensive presence and rebounding ability (all you can ask from a rookie center). Even if it's preseason, but the Pistons really hit the jackpot this time, he's a legit Monroe counterpart with alot of space for improvement ( work on those FT's).

I thought he might be too old but damn... Priggy looks great. Pick n roll game, 3pt shot and even defence.

Jonas with 10 boards in 23 minutes, including some clutch plays down the stretch while having 5 fouls (most of them bull rookie foul calls).

I think Lillard is frontrunner for ROY. Portland could be on the edge for playoffs, that would give Lillard a leg up on Anthony Davis and the Hornets

Plus he has no one threatening his minutes.
