poor ryno

Ryan Anderson is shooting just 14-of-44 from the field through five preseason games with the Hornets, and he recently admitted that he's "trying to figure it out."
"I mean it’s obviously a completely different system," said Anderson, who is projected to come off the bench as the sixth-man. "I’m not a big one-on-one wind a guy up type of a player, so I really rely on my teammates to get me going

I wonder if it's possible for a player to win the MIP and then be the most be the most regressed player in consecutive years.

This is why Ryno was not kept. We cant pay $9 mill a year to a guy that needs his teamates to set him up for open 3's. It was a coup by Henny to get Ayon and the TPE for allowing NO to overpay for him. Good move indeed.

Glad Ryan admitted it. Hopefully he keeps working on his game.

Ryan just isn't able to create offense for himself (one-dimensional). I remember when this forum had a heated debate about whether we should or shouldn't trade him for Monta Ellis. I like Ryan a lot, but for those people who argued they wouldn't have traded Ryan for Monta because Ryan could potentially be a future star or a "Dirk-lite" player was just comical beyond belief.

Why do teams pay big money for players and then completely misuse them? Obviously Ryan isn't a one on one player. He doesn't necessarily need, say, Dwight Howard, the best big in the game, but if you want to bring him off the bench as a 6th man and ask him to be a go-to individual scorer, it's not going to work out. Even Eyriq would tell you that.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Monta Ellis will never be a championship player, so it was worth not getting him.

Just realized that Moe Harkless is the only player on our roster who can't drink, and that he won't be able to for ~two years yet.

Duhon steals the ball, dribbles cross court, and finishes in traffic for the Lakers.

I get that you can never really let go until you can detach emotion from your perception, but I'm just not there yet re: Dwight. Before long I'll be in a place where I just don't care. But for now, I hate the guy and hope he spontaneously combusts.

Remember that time we thought we could convince Nash to sign in ORL to appease Dwight? That pick n roll would have been lethal.

Seeing Dwight with that first alley oop dunk in a Lakers uni made me sick.

*sigh* Dwight is a beast on defense. Dude has the paint on lock down. We're gonna miss that.

Why do the Raptors accept that? I think maybe we'd pull Ross or the pick (I'd prefer the pick) in that deal, but I can't see them ditching both. Do they have any big contracts that they're trying to get rid of? Maybe we can use the TPE to get that pick.

I'm watching the Lakers game... interestingly enough I didn't feel any sadness or anger watching Dwight... I did (get angry) when I saw Shaq play his first game with the Lakers, and I was sad seeing T-Mac play his first game with Houston... but this time I just don't care for Dwight or the Lakers... he's just another "non-Magic" player out there in a NBA game that I'm watching.

But it's still funny (funnier now that it's on another team) watching Dwight whining "AYYYYYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAA" at the refs
