OT - Fantasy sleepers and busts

Post#1 » by thebigv » Sun Oct 21, 2012 7:49 pm

Hi guys,

I am doing my first fantasy pool this year. It is in about 4 hours. I was wondering if you guys have any opinions for sleepers and busts this season.

My pool is with 10 other people for money so I want to do well. I live in Canada so raps players will go too early due to homerism. I might be able to get JV at good value but I doubt it.

Thanks!

well according to this board Jarrett Jack, Jerryd Bayless, James Johnson, etc. were all superstars being criminally underutilized in Toronto so they're due for breakouts elsewhere

Jack will be getting a ton of pt, so he probably will be a decent pick

Early picks are pretty straight forward, you take the superstars, with the late picks you might want to look at guys like Luke Ridnour and Nikola Pekovic who should put up big numbers with Love and Rubio out. Elton Brand and Chris Kaman can be good pickups too now that Dirk is injured. Damian Lillard also has the potential to put up big numbers. Those are just some off the top of my head

So here is my team for anyone that cares. I like it.

Chris Paul, Paul George, Tyreke Evans, Carmelo Anthony, Danny Granger, Serge Ibaka, Marc Gasol,
Tyson Chandler, Isaiah Thomas, Zach Randolph, Evan Turner, Jonas Valanciunas, George Hill,

I don't like the fact that I have three guys from one team. I really had no choice with the picks I was given. Sometimes you take a guy because he has slipped 15 spots from where he should have been picked.
