cardinals @ vikings

cardinals (4-2) @ vikings (4-2)

cards have lost 2 straight, kolb is hurt so skelton is back in, their offensive line is a huge mess and i think they are on their 3rd and 4th string rbs

will all that said, i don't feel that confident about this, hopefully we bounce back strong- being back home will be nice, that washington crowd was really into it last week

establish the run, get the ball to percy, solid d and don't turn the ball over

GO VIKINGS

-It sounds as though Simpson will be starting this Sunday barring any setbacks.

-Get pressure on the QB. Something we didn't do too well last week.
-As hermes said, establish the run. With Peterson's sore ankle I expect to see a little more Toby and maybe Harvin in at RB. Not to mention we have the Tampa Bay game 4 days later.
-Need to score TD's in the red zone, not FGs.
-Don't turn the ball over and limit the penalties.

Ugly victory with poor tackling and no passing game, but AP carried us.

should we be worried about ponder? he's turning the ball over a lot more and he had way less than 100 yards today

I'm not worried yet. Yes, he had a terrible game but it's part of the growing process. We'll see some good games fallowed by some bad games. Even though he has digressed over the past couple weeks, most fans wanted to see improvement this year and I felt that he has. Hopefully he can bounce back this Thursday.

vs. Titans: The Titans weren't doing anything on offense so I felt he took a few chances down the field that didn't work out. He responded nicely after that if I remember correctly.

vs. Redskins: The fumble was on a play where Adrian Peterson got blown up on a block into Ponders throwing shoulder. The pick 6 was bad. The INT at the end of the game was just a desperation throw. Time was running out and we needed a score/onside kick so I'm okay with that.

vs. Arizona: Both were bad decisions. The 2nd INT before the half was poor play calling by the coaches but still, Ponder needs to know to throw it away after so long or just take the sack.

I thought the first interception was more bad throw than bad decision, Rudolph was open. The second interception was ridiculous, we should have been running the clock out.
