I know it's only preseason but Wade has not lost a step.

Post#1 » by DieHardBallFan » Sun Oct 21, 2012 2:37 am

Although a lot of people never thought of it rather taking in the 2nd Heat chip this offseason I personally was a little scared for how Wade one of my favorite players of all time would come into this season. The injuries, the rehab and surgery, his game is like Rose's on uppers. He needs his knee's under him.

From what I am getting these last two games, my guy Wade has not lost a STEP from the past 3 years. He is exploding off the ball, showing why he is the only player in the league like himself. WADE. He is playing like a Kobe/ Rose mix. This guy is embarrassing 2-3 guys per game. He is jumping for every rebound offensively or defensively. He is covered in sweat by the time he comes out every sub. He's giving it his all. He has not grimaced once, no sign of pain. He's still got the competitive edge and is going AT people. I'm happy man.

Thoughts?

He hit one. A pull-up 18-footer.

Dude is looking like Vintage Wade! I am really confident he will be explosive to the rim like he usually is this up coming season.

What really pissed me off is that people making assumptions about his decline last season. He was injured through out the whole season/playoffs.. Can't wait for him to avenge his sh**. Wade will be top 3 2012-2013 season. Book it 8-)

He's playing well, should play better as a 2nd option. Hopefully he can work on his off ball game.

Everytime Wade has been off and whatnot, it has been his shot. I don't remember people or anyone ever complaining that he can't do this and that anymore in terms of athleticism. He's still the one of the slickest guys out there.

But when he has a bad game, he does the worse acrobatic things and his shot couldn't be anymore uglier WHEN he is injured.

But coming off knee surgery, his attacking of the rim and his defense is still there. It just has always been about his jump shot.

But he looks good. When he is really healthy, he is a joy to watch.

I mean that was this year, last season. The "WADE IS DECLINING" always comes up when he shoots terribly, throws stuff up hoping they go in, yelling at the ref, etc etc. Never really about his actual athleticism. RIGHT NOW he looks fine and so does his knee.

What the hell are you talking about? I know you don't try to hide your agenda .. but I really don't get this. Do you really think it is going to affect Bosh's play if Wade is off the ball - which he almost is all the time nowadays compared to how much he was handling the ball before? If anything, I would think Bosh would get more touches if Wade has the ball than when he's off.

Wade will get better as we the enter the pre-season.. It's also great that everyone knows what role they have and the chemistry between the big three has developed greatly since the first time they came together.

Our increased depth will also led to Wade being used more efficiently.

This season is going to be an absolute treat for us.

BANNER 3.

Yeah the dude doesn't know what he's talking about. Even during last season, the Wade-Bosh pick-and-roll has worked nicely, so it has only benefited Bosh when Wade is on the ball.

I didn't doubt Wade would be fine and am confident he'll be able to find his rhythm just in time for the start of the regular season. I also don't understand this concern about his jumper. He's barely attempted any so far because he was mainly concerned about attacking the basket. Of the few he took, he hit about 45-50%, which is a more than good enough rate. The 18-foot pull-up jumper last night was as clean as it gets in terms of technique.

DWade is 3/13 on jump shots in the 4 games he has played, that's 23%. On the other hand, 5 of those 13 were taken in his preseason debut where he wasn't really hitting much of anything. In Game 2 vs LAC he took just 1 jumpshot, 4 against the Pistons, and 3 against The Spurs.

Wade plays great off-ball; he would be among the best in that aspect if he just hits his jumpers at a consistent basis. Other than that, Wade is looking exceptional; all he needs to do is get into game shape again because he tires out a little earlier than usual.

The man is finally healthy! The key is obviously staying healthy for him, but he should average right around 24 5 4 this year. Great numbers for our number 2 option!

I love Wade, one of my favorite guards. I expect a great season from him.

15ppg 5rpg 4apg 55% FG! And of course, this is the most important , 80 games!
He needs to stay healthy, that's all that matters.

Are you lost bro? The day Wade averages 15ppg he will need a cane, lol.

Wade's not going to average 15ppg LOL. That's the funniest thing I've read on these forums in a long time. The time he averages 15ppg is when he is like 35 or something. Or becomes a 3rd, even 4th option. Or hell, misses most of the season o_O.

He's probably going to average 23pgg. About 20ppg the least.

Dude, I haven't seen you post much, but I get the feeling no one takes you seriously, and I'd imagine its for reasons like this. I'm sure the Raptors board will welcome you back with open arms and forgive your flirtation with the Heat.

As they say in Canada, bon voyage!

If Wade were to ever average 15 PPG in 55% shooting, he would definitely need to shoot more lol

ARE YOU JONATHAN ZASLOW?

Yeah, 15 ppg would be 1 more point than 36-year-old Ray Allen. No more posts for mirrornick, basketball analysis is not his forte.

I think we can all agree that was the dumbest comment made on this forum in half a year. Canada stays taking losses. Jebus.
