wow @ how many open looks dwight got bc of good passing. our passing sucked.. he threw down like 6 alleys in the game..i hope thats the only way he gets his points bc it looks like they are making him a garbage man to clean up buckets and just get alleys the whole game lol.

it looked awkawrd seeing him on another team but glad he lost his first game..hope he never wins a championship and is all showtime lakers.

Why do the Raptors accept that? I think maybe we'd pull Ross or the pick (I'd prefer the pick) in that deal, but I can't see them ditching both. Do they have any big contracts that they're trying to get rid of? Maybe we can use the TPE to get that pick.

read a little closer. the #8 pick was Ross. its not a pick and Ross

We just aren't going to be that bad. We are a smart team, and I will enjoy watching.

And what is with Moore? 6'4, scores well and seems to get a decent amount of assists. How long before people want him starting over Nelson?

Went to the Spurs Magic game yesterday and was impressed by Nicholson again :) Him, Harkless, Jones, and Moore are who I am really keeping an eye on this year :)

If Dwight would have just boxed out like normal big men do, he wouldn't have that happen to him. Got his ass yammed on by T. Robinson...

Oh and we weren't a good passing team at the time to begin with because our entire offense centered around Howard in the post and spacing out the floor with 3pt shooting. Stan's system did not promote constant ball movement. The past is the past though, time to move on.

I have to say that Nicholson has a widely impressive skill set for offense. He has all sorts of moves and they all look natural. You can't really teach those moves he has, either you have it or you dont (Dwight comes to mind). He seems to be finishing stronger at the rim now that he has some games on his resume and that is encouraging. The thing I want to see more is improving his rebounding numbers and defense. He still has a lot of learning to do but he is a rookie.

Daquan Jones continues to impress me. He is an electrifing athlete and he has shown me glimpses of being a dynamic finisher. He has the ability to slice thru the defense and finish strong. He made that turn around lil jump shot that was really nice. He also made that long 3 to beat the shot clock. He seems like those guys that are better suited to the NBA compared to college because of his physical attributes. We gotta keep this kid.

This team is so much fun to watch because they keep moving the ball around and players are constantly cutting. Its refreshing watching this team compared to the boring Dwight post up with 4 shooters.

His game inside the 3-point line reminds me of Antwan Jamison back in the day... He's not wildly athletic (despite that nice AND 1 jam from the baseline last night), but seems to get to the right spots on the floor with VERY soft touch. His instincts on offense are nice, knowing when to take the shot, and knowing when to put the ball on the floor.

Needs to work on his defense and strength though (not surprisingly as a rookie). He got out boarded and posted up a couple of times which would not have happened if he was able to better hold his defensive position.
