One man goes down and another steps up...going to miss his veteran leadership out on the field..but his play this year has been average at best

This could really hurt our run D. We don't have anyone who can replicate his role in our 2-4-5.

So weird. Same messed up season with injurys as when we won the super bowl. I never seen a team with more injurys than the Packers. Something is not right.

I guess Richardson may be active against the Jags.

I guess he'll be back in mid to late December, probably early January. Hopefully we are still winning games but man that blows.

The rookies are taking over by default. More snaps for the McMillianaire.

We shouldn't need him for the next two games and then we have a bye so that is 3 weeks right there.

This is really starting to feel like the Super Bowl year more and more every week.

They're high on Richardson and this will be a good stretch for McMillian to gain some big time experience. I think we can be fine without him, but it's gonna take some guys growing up and filling in. At least the schedule is working in our favor here for a few weeks.

I figured if Shields was back, he would be inactive again. Now he is guaranteed to be active.

Is this the same area he broke in the SuperBowl or was that a separated shoulder?

It is what it is. He's 36 and physically not at all where he was two-three years ago. You could see his body absorb those blows from Jackson yesterday. He knows where he needs to be on the field but doesn't have the body to take those guys on anymore )and not that he ever did as he usually would go for the ball strip)

Just excited to see Hayward out there more and if the other young guys can step up. We'll need it.

he never did have the body to take those blows

Woodson was a bump and run, in your face corner who played one on one on the outside. Him playing a safety role the last couple years has made him vulnerable because of the way he tackles... and as a safety you definitely can't tackle leaning in especially with the speed of guys coming at you more than you chasing them or keeping up with them as an outside corner

McMillian looks like a big time developing playmaker. Who knows if he does develop, but a few 'splash plays' would go a long way toward offsetting the loss of Wood's steadiness. And steady is really what he's been this year. 2 TOs forced so far after 28 over the previous three seasons.
