Stuckey and Knight might turn out to be decent players, but I doubt either one will be more than adequate at point guard. But it's not just them. I'd ditch Prince as fast as I possibly could. He's a ballstopper on offense and his usefulness to the Pistons is over. Better to lose with a good young prospect than with an older player whose best days are long gone. However, if you can get a good point guard and a good sf to team with Monroe and Drummond, you could make waves in the near future.
Stuckey is not a PG, that experiment failed 2 years ago. He is however decent enough at it to play 10-15minutes a game as a backup. He's already more than adequate. Knight is 20years old, in his 2nd season, he's already proven he can start as a PG, it matter of him learning the position. If you could elaborate on why you think he's "not adequate at point guard" and your assertion that prince's "usefulness" is over. As much as i would like to defend prince and knight, your just making statements with 0 support.
Its actually better to win with a veteran player than lose so a young player can develop. makes 0 sense coaching wise.
Lastly we'll be making waves in the very near future with our young core, or at least just as many waves as Milwakee,Washington, and toronto will.
