QRich has (2) years on his contract that the Magic will have to pay if he is cut. Hence, he will not be cut. But, he may be traded anytime from now thru the trade deadline. Henny isn't that great, but he shouldn't be that stupid.

I dont know if Q can be moved unless there is an injury around the league midseason. I think McBob has way more value and think he should be moved for a 2nd, cut harper and buyout or 15th man Q

EMPHIS, Tenn. — Al Harrington’s recovery from offseason right-knee surgery and a subsequent staph infection in the same joint is nearing an end.

The power forward told the Orlando Sentinel that he has a checkup scheduled for Nov. 12 with his knee specialist, orthopedic surgeon J. Richard Steadman, in Vail, Colo.

I literally had to log in to just to go WAY off topic and be a jerk. I'm sorry for all of those who get offended by this type of thing, but this guy is too much.

Stop posting. Just go on another forum, and exercise your freedom of speech elsewhere. Your shtick is by far the worst I've seen on many forums, the negativity isn't even funny or cute, and you simply rehash your idiotic trolling in every post you make about how "X player sucks and has a bad contract" or "X executive is an idiot". By all means, if you decide to log on and make a worthwhile post, keep posting. But if you're going to continue this nonsensical trend of posting garbage, log off AOL and rip out the phone jack.

Just..stop. Move on. This team moved Dwight, has a complex/long term plan in place, and Surge isn't a soda anymore. OK?

I feel better now.

edit: and for anybody wondering, it wasn't so much this post (minus the Hennigan comment), it's the collection of posts I read everyday. And maybe I'm a glutton for stupidity, and I can easily ignore it, but I shouldn't have to go through the trouble of doing so. This guy is the worst.

I'm wondering if we can't turn Q into Raja Bell given the reported buyout squabbled on Bell's part. Q has 4.5 mil over two years, and Bell ~3 mil over 1. Throw in some cash and I think a deal gets made. Bell's contract is eminently more tradable than Q's, and worst case scenario we get rid of him after the season without losing any money on it. Bell and McRoberts and Redick gives us lots of expiring ammunition for a deadline deal as well.

Go ahead. This has nothing to do with Dwight. Just because I state that no GM in their right mind would cut a player with 2 guaranteed years on his contract and that offends people, I should be on your foe list because people should keep on living in fantasy land. I just told the truth and some people can not deal with it.

And, people here said much worse about Otis and other things the organization deals with. I have never used the foe list. I dealt with all Otis crap. So, if people can't deal with the reality that everyone agrees with your thoughts, then go to another forum or foe me.

FYI. I don't care.

FYI. I don't hate Duhon or Otis.

Hmmm. Somehow I don't believe you in regards to the part of your post I put in bold. It's whatever though, I stopped taking you serious after you said Dwight was never going to leave and chastised people who thought differently of you, yet your boy did the exact opposite.

Well, if I don't agree that Henny would even consider cutting QRich, then people shouldn't bash me. And, that is even more childish than me complaining about Dwight and the Magic. Because, those are personal attacks and those could be Warning level offenses for those types of posts.

But, I personally think Henny may consider buying out QRich's contract, but he won't be cut. I can guarantee that.

I thought this a few times during pre-season being QRich mentioned he wants out and he doesn't seem to be participating much in Pre-Season which means Henny may be shopping him or working on a buyout.

Where are you getting that Q has said he wants out? i havent seen anything on that. also though Q is past his better days and not useful on the court I think hes a great veteran presence and a great player to have cheering on the bench who hustles and is always ready when called upon

You are getting bashed mainly because of this at the end of your original post... "Henny isn't that great, but he shouldn't be that stupid." I understand that you feel you are being attacked personally but I don't see it that way. I think people on here are just tired of hearing your overall negativity and how you push your opinions as facts to people. I personally don't have a problem with you as far as your posting goes cause you have the right to say whatever you want regarding the Magic. However I feel that you should give Rob Hennigan a chance at least seeing that he has only been at this since June.

This considerably diminishes the likelihood of our buying out or cutting Josh McRoberts.

Eh, not necessarily. Davis, Nicholson, O'Quinn, Vuc, and hell, even slide Turk to the 4. Who cares?

I agree it makes the decision more difficult, but I'm still hoping we find a way to swing Q to the Cavs or something for a 2nd rounder (maybe ours back, doesn't matter). Then cut Justin & Chris Johnson, and I believe we're good.

It's only 2 weeks. I'd rather make due then alter the gameplan, but I'm not GM.

I don't disagree at all. I'd rather weather it and bring in the unheralded potential guy who really wants to be here rather than the goofy, entitled veteran who doesn't.

With that said, for the first two weeks of the season, Vucevic will be the only player on our roster with any tangible experience playing center for an extended period of time, and even there it's only ~50 games.

I don't necessarily think this spells the end to DQJ's chances of making the team, but I do think that it's conceivable that the team feels more compelled to release him and hope he's still around in three weeks rather than enter the season with Flying V as our only tried-and-true option at center.

I don't know any better than anyone else does, but it's the wrong time for the dude likely allotted 20mpg at center to go down.

I can't see Q getting traded, not with 2 years left. We would probably have to swap 2nd's with whomever we trade him to if we did.
