Temple keeps doing dumb stuff when I start to become sold on him, but that's fixable. They seem just about even as shooters and defenders, but Temple is taller, longer, and most importantly, a better ballhandler. On a small-scale, per game basis, they'll definitely go up and down, nosing each other out back and forth, but over the long haul I think Temple is the better option for us.

Or we can cut a Pitt or a Jones and keep both.

We have very little use for James Jones these days, but I assume his contract ensures him a return. I'd prefer to give his roster spot to Carney, because I like Temple and Jorts already. I think Pittman would actually be more valuable to us this season than Jones. Shard and Ray means that JJ should be rocking a suit most nights. PEACE.

Pittman is of no use and has shown nothing that says he should play 5 minutes a night. Cut him loose and move on. Keep Temple and Harris both. They make for better scrimmage partners anyways.

Harris has a bit more skill to me but Temple has more handles. I haven't been impressed with either this camp. To be honest, I would rather cut both and bring in a big. JJ is on the team to be a mentor. JJ doesn't bring alot to the table but he is also a great guy at the end of the bench. Someone that knows his role, which is why I'm guessing we didn't select PJ3.

I've got Temple all the way. I like Harris' defense, but he's just so awkward on offense. He's like a baby deer trying to run for the first time whenever he has the ball in his hands. I like having an extra ball handler in case of emergency. I mean, neither of those guys are going to play unless someone gets hurt anyway, and I think what Temple provides is a little more valuable in a reserve player.

But I would have no problem cutting Pittman and keeping both. I don't care how small we are. Pittman is useless.

Carney is a dead man walking after that performance last night. Just brutal.

I'd take Temple. Better ballhandling, shooting, and length. Crazy how quickly Carney's fallen off though, went from insanely hot to insanely cold.

Did Carney get cut? Why is he not part of this conversation?

Please add a poll to this thread with Harris, Temple and Carney (unless Carney is already cut) as options to keep.

No, but the combination of his last performance, going cold in previous games, and his redundant position leads many to believe he has a 0% chance.

Don't think either Temple or Harris are worth holding onto. Therell be better players cut from other teams.

They're both on non-guaranteed contracts. They can be dropped if someone better shakes loose, provided it happens before the Jan 10 deadline when non-guaranteed contracts are triggered and become part of the team cap.
