Watch the dude ball now.

Just think... Had we made the Houston deal, we could have Harden on the team right now.

Houston wouldn't have offered all that for a rental of Dwight.

I think that is the exact offer that was on the table for us (when most people wanted the inclusion of all rookies and Parsons, etc). Kmart, Lamb and the Tor pick is not much to pay for a rental of Dwight, let alone the next elite SG of the league.

I'm still not sure how I feel about this deal. Martin can score, but he doesn't make plays for other people like Harden does. Harden directed the offense a lot in 4th quarters, allowing Westbrook and Durant to play off the ball. K-Mart doesn't do that.

However, Lamb is a really good prospect and that Toronto pick is going to be in the lottery somewhere. Long term, it's a great move. I'm just not sure about this year.

I wonder what Durant thinks of it...

Couldn't Harden sign somewhere else too though?

Martin sucks now, but this deal will be good in the long run. OKC definitely got worse with this in the immediate future.

How much does this resemble Otis letting Hedo walk after our Finals run? The Thunder will take a step back this year.

Except they've still got Durant and Westbrook signed for several more years. And we got nothing for Hedo who was at the peak of his career and has since faded whereas Harden is going into his prime.

Houston gave all that up for Harden. Just goes to show you how Howard handcuffed our team. I hope that loser never wins sh*t.

OKC got 2 players and gave up 4, Orton will likely be resigned

What did the Magic get for Dwight?
They got a ton of bodies (including a prospect) and a number of late first round pics.. =/

But I feel like what OKC got for harden was of more value...

Ok look

No Question the Thunder got better drafts picks then Magic

I personally think Kevin Martin on an expiring is better then Afflalo.

Lamb is a little better prospect then Harkless(imo)

Eyenga got waived

McRoberts is really a nonfactor(unless he could get us a pick)

Harrington hurt us more then helped us

Vucevic was a good pick up

Thunder got a little it of a better trade

Return to Orlando Magic
