Holy. Hell.

All I'm gonna say is, A Lin-Harden backcourt is going to be amazing. Amazingly good or bad I don't know yet. But amazing none the less.

David Stern's last 'wish' was to have a Kobe vs LeBron finals.

In a bench role? With a healthy Maynard distributing the ball? I see it as business as usual.
In reference to a Picture of Billy Hunter...

Cole Aldrich was efficient?

People need to stop overrating draft picks. Oh wow, they got that sought after Toronto Raptors 1st round pick. Who knows what kind of great player OKC can take with the 10th pick in the draft. Yeah Harden is hella overrated but Martin is straight garbage buckets while they can get some more Cole Aldrich's and Reggie Jackson's with their Raptors and Mavs picks

D12 wouldn't commit to Houston, no way Houston gives up all that for a rental Dwight.

So they've already got a commitment from Harden?

Well they got mid draft picks in one of the worst draft years ever. Jeremy Lamb will be good though. But not this year. This is a salary dump.

OKC **** up hard. Wow. This is insane.

You have a window now take it. K Martin is not taking you anywhere. They overrated Ibaka and are paying the price.

Pretty good haul.

Have you guys been paying attention to what other teams have been getting for losing all-star players? Outside of Utah and maybe Denver (who gave up much better players), this stands up pretty well.

You can see who actually understands advanced stats, by their reaction in this thread.

Houston won.

All this talk about Lamb and picks is premature, stats say Lamb is an average prospect, picks are impossible to predict.

What is easy to predict is Harden being much better than Martin for the remainder of their careers.

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if Harden totally flopped as a #1 option.

Even though the stats and eye test show that he has actually been just as good if not better with Durant/WB off the floor, and the fact that both of those guys play worse when he's on the bench? Makes sense.

Will OKC move KMart's expiring and the picks for a Harden upgrade?

Toronto and Dallas picks will be mid-first types - 15-20 range. TO's is that tricky one where it's put off until it's eventually a lotto pick though right? So it's not necessarily for this years pick.

The key piece IMO is Lamb, the picks are just the icing on the cake.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.
