Detroit is struggling and Prince seems to be pressing.

Ump has someplace to be. Probably not in Detroit.

Giants one win away from winning the WS. Shutout Tigers two games in a row.

I am absolutely shocked that the Tigers haven't used Scherzer until game 4. He is pitching in a groove, and I'd put him a slight slight notch below Verlander in said groove. He's dominant, which is what you need in the playoffs, if even for just 6 innings.

The stars and scrubs formula that the Brewers used last year is failing Detroit this year, granted they got further in the playoffs.

You can't really argue against the results. Fister have up 1 run over 6 and Sanchez gave up 2 over 7. The pitching isn't the issue.

That may be, but Scherzer should be the 2nd guy. He quite possibly shuts this below average/weak lineup out for those innings, but you're right, it hasn't been bad by any means.

I hate the stars and scrubs formula. It's especially bad if you're in a small market.

Now I'm hoping the AL brings it to seven.

I real MVP would hit a 2 run HR with no one on right now.

Eh. Not what I wanted, but oh well - I certainly didn't mind the Giants winning, just not hoped for.
