And he was incredible prior to the Finals. He buried SA in the WCF. What is your point?

Some random things from OKC

1. PJIII is going to actually get playing time now, which is great. Potential to be a better Jeff Green

2. Maynor gets to go back to being the second team playmaker, which he excels at. (not to the level of Harden)

3. If they use Martin as a spot up shooter, he's very good in that role.

4. OKC is going to play very small this year with lots of Durant at the 4, think Miami Heat.

I think we'll find out soon enough that Harden maybe wanted a starting role on the team. Probably another "I want to be the Man" situation

More like the OKC owner bailed on a potential dynasty over $4.5M. How much is he worth? That 4.5M was just too much for him?

Martin shot very well in preseason and appears to be on the verge of a bounce back year. It's about as good as the Thunder were going to get under the circumstances.

No Rocket fans are shedding tear over the departure of Kevin Martin. When you watch him play basketball you'll know why.

We are pissed at the inclusion of Lamb and Tor pick.

You have to give to get. Lamb is obviously the key to the deal for OKC. That guy's shooting is beyond good.

I still think Martin can be flipped for another player. If I am the Thunder I turn right around and trade Martin for someone like Josh Smith.

God forbid that an owner in one of the league's tiniest markets tries to make a profit. The same arguments work for both of 'em.

Name one first option without a midrange game. Don't worry, I'll wait.

Rose had no midrange game by the time he was an All-Star, Tony Parker today as their leading scorer still doesnt have a midrange game.

I don't have any sympathy for Bennett, either. Why bother buying the team if you're going to quibble over such a small amount of money in the big picture?

If Martin can be flipped for Smith, he would've been traded before Harden was available.

How does he not have a midrange game? Because he chooses not to shoot from there?

Wade was a mediocre midrange shooter in 07 and 08. LeBron was a terrible midrange shooter before 09.

Wade is well great from 3-15. Harden is terrible from anywhere in between the rim and three point line. Wade is a beast from everywhere but 16+ where he's still at least reliable and very good when it matters (he's always shot way better in the PS).

I bet Laker fans are celebrating right now. Shame Harden decided to ruin a potential dynasty for some measly 5 mil. OKC is a small market team they can't afford that many max players so don't give me that crap that they were cheap.

$400 million. How much of that is liquid assets, I can't say.

Something doesn't seem right to me about this trade. Dude gets dealt over such a small difference on their first negotiation?

It's like Presti just snapped for one reason or another. Like either he was looking for a reason to trade Harden or Harden's desire for the max pissed him off.

I blame him, too. Whole situation is pretty silly.

I think that there was a limit that was pre-agreed upon by management and ownership. If Harden wants more than X, we deal him. That simple.

Houston will give Harden a 5 year/80 million dollar extension.
