Cousins will kill Dwight every game, the Lakers will win, and life will go on.

It sucks imo. Sac needs the Kings, there's nothing else to do in that town.

We've topped the preseason and the summer league. Cannot ask for a better hype campaign for this year.

Bone bruise of knee, has been in discomfort and pain, has been undergoing injections for lubrication, hasn't practiced, no set timetable for his return, most likely won't play season opener.

Kings/Warriors games won't be the same without the fan cross-pollination in the arena.

...and they probably won't be Kings/Warriors games. I think the city of Seattle kept the rights to the Sonics name and franchise history.

If the Kings do become the Sonics, I wonder what happens to the Kings franchise history? Where will Corliss Williamson have his jersey retired?

Corliss was fun to watch if he wasn't on your team. No one could stop him in the paint, but he had no other way to contribute.

I remember him from that '04 Sixers team who had maybe 2 legit NBA starters and 6 or so legit 6th men. Off the top of my head I think they had a young Korver, McKie (OG Sixth Man), Corliss, Ollie and our very own Marc Jackson! Forgot why, but remember that guy was a d-bag.

LOL, D-Will "might" need off-season surgery and the season hasn't even started yet. What's the over/under on games played?

Anyone comment on the Harden deal yet?

I personally think it's a great move for the Thunder. Reportedly he turned down a 13 mil per year extension. I think they get back a scorer in KMart so it's no longer Russel shoots, Kevin shoots. Plus, Lamb looks pretty good, and they won't need to rely on him. He can develop into something special and give them a pretty big backcourt.

I think OKC has all the marks of a smart organization. They couldn't get a deal done with Harden, recognized his deficiencies and made a good deal that helps them now and in the long term, especially with supposed picks coming back to them as well.

Harden isn't worth the max, which is what he wanted, but I don't think they got all that much back for him. However I think Harden is coming off a career year and he really does seem to get overrated around here...but Kevin Martin and Jeremy Lamb? C'mon maaaaaan. At least they got a pu-pu platter of picks.

I'm with And1 on this one. I really doubt that two years up the line Houston will be sad about losing Martin or sad about getting Harden, and vice-versa with Oklahoma being happy about their end. Oh, and that really smart Oklahoma ownership group are the same ones who hosed the city of Seattle, so if they suffer, I'm not too upset.

OKC refused to pay Harden another $1.5 mil a year and so they traded him for a big pile of mediocrity? Lame.

Holy :censored:

Sean Morey with the small win here.. No idea what OKC is thinking. Harden was their 2nd best player... hate this move by Presti. He must think the world of Jeremy Lamb. He's good, but no way he replaces Harden's elite production.

Houston gives up a lot of assets for a non-gamechanger though.. I dont think they did all that well. Was it worth the 2 1sts and large expiring to move up from Lamb's potential to Harden's actual? I dont think so... but they have a really gritty team capable of shocking people. Lin - Harden - Parsons - Jones/Patterson - Asik is an underrated starting lineup.

Westbrook and Ibaka took a little less money to keep the band together. Harden held out for max. Where are the greedy athlete haters or does Harden get a pass because he's "underrated"?
