So close damn. Wanted the Giants to lose

I thought it was better for us if the Giants won. It's looking more and more like the NFC East and South are only going to send one team to the playoffs. That only helps us.

Besides the Bears win, I thought today was a pretty good day. Seattle lost, Philly lost, Dallas lost. Of course Minnesota lost on Thursday as well. And it's the midway point of the season, so I am already starting to look at situations like those unfolding. From the Wild Card perspective, today was about as good of a day as possible for the Packers.

From the Wild Card perspective, today was about as good of a day as possible for the Packers.

Chicago is a good team and could end up winning say 12 games, we may end up having to get into the playoffs via the wild card. So in case the Packers don't win the division, i'd rather see Dallas lose than the Giants who very likely will win the NFC East. Plus, i will always take pleasure in the cameras zooming in on Jerry Jones after yet another last minute loss.

The Lions/Seattle game was tough for me to decide on who to cheer for, but given we already have a loss vs Seattle and still get to play Detroit twice, it was probably better that the Lions won. The Packers can bury Detroit simply by beating them twice.

With the NFC being much stronger overall than the AFC, it's likely going to take at least 10 games to get a wild card berth in the NFC and there could end up being 2-3 teams tied for that wild card spot.

Im deff in the camp of rooting for the other wild card contenders to lose,I was rooting for the Giants to win and I'll be rooting for the 49ers to beat the Cardinals tomorrow.

Obviously I'll be rooting for the Bears to lose but hopefully the Giants,Falcons & 49ers bury the other teams in their divisions.


I would rather see 5 or 6 teams (including up hopefully) with a strong hold on a playoff spot rather than 8 or 9 teams all jumbled up with a chance going into the final weeks of the season.

It's more important to this Packer team HOW they are playing come playoff time rather than who or where they are playing if we've learned anything from this team the past 2 seasons.

Interesting weekend. The Patriots are certainly back as they beat the living piss out of the Rams, great Fantasy week from Brady.

The Steelers D finally brought it and played a hell of a game against RG3, they are just laying the weeds right now with nobody taking them that seriously.

Great win from the Falcons over the Eagles, how bad has Mike Vick gotten? Good lord. Coons look like the real deal right now, with Matt Ryan playing some MVP quality QB. But I refuse to give them the crown until they actually win A playoff game.

I won't strain myself getting too mad over the Bears game, they stole one and will certainly give it back at some point. It is funny to listen to 670 The Score and hear Bear call in and talk about how they do not believe their team is that good and that Cutler is overrated. We are so far inside of that team's head, I do not fear them for a second, even if we have to play at Soldier.
