By "jealousy" he was probably referring to DWill always flies under the media radar never getting much attention. Lin got more attention in those 2 months than DWill has had in his career. I'm not saying DWill should be jealous, but if there was jealousy, that'd be it.
Speedlot wrote:What a moron. Felton bashes your team for talking too much trash, then you go and praise him back. I guess it's easy to hate on the Asian guy that stomped your team and became famous because it. Lin has been nothing but classy.
Shut up and worry about your own team.

DWill simply stated the truth -- Felton is a better pg than Lin. These stupid conspiracy theories involving jealousy need to end. Felton is a true pg, whose focus is on getting the ball to his primary scorers. Lin is a high-turnover, low % shooting pg who looks for a shot as frequently as he does to pass.
Linsanity is defined as a period in which Lin performed on a very high level. That period listed for exactly 10 games -- from Feb. 4 vs. NJ, when he scored 25, until Feb. 19 vs. Dallas, when he scored 28. The next game, against NJ again, he shot .389 (7-18) ,and it began his steep drop in shooting %. The game after that he scored 17 against Atlanta -- a good game, but nothing very noteworthy.
Then came the game that officially ended Linsanity against the Heat on Feb. 23. Finally, someone did a good job of keying in on Lin, and quite frankly he looked like a terrified rookie, shooting 1-11 (.091).
After that, Lin's games were incredibly uneven, as shown by the following shooting percentages: 375 vs. Boston, .308 vs. Dallas, .278 vs Philly, .364 vs. Chicago, .235 vs. Philly.
Note that Carmelo had absolutely nothing to do with how well Lin shot the ball. That's all under Lin's control. People forget that even after Melo returned, Lin was still getting plenty of shots. He just wasn't making them nearly as much as during Linsanity.

Lin played good but became bigger than the team even when he got STAT and Melo back he still tried to do it all and thats why we started losing. He was shooting too many shots. Him, STAT and Melo shot 14+ shots a night and that isn't good. Look at Rondo, he only shoots or tried to score when its there same with CP3 and Nash.
I think everyone can agree that Lin is over rated, he's good but not an All-Star and not an Elite PG

Hustlehard23 wrote:Why don't Lin fan boys mention the damn turnovers???? It bugs me that they over look that, he basically avg 2 assist per game, it's going to come to light this yr, he's a fraud and I feel bad for him, going to have a hard time living up to that run.

he is but nothing Felton did last year would lead you to think he is better than Lin at anything, except bad shooting.
sanity wrote:Williams is hating... but I think the trend for the inner-circle of superstars in this league (D-Will is a part of it, along with Paul, James, Howard, etc.) is to not be as accepting of other players who amass hype. Ex. Lin.
Hate him or love him, or believe he's overpaid or overhyped or was a fluke, he played extremely well last season and Felton never had a year of basketball in this league that came close to it.
