Well I was meant as a joke somewhat I mean the Lakers make these moves to get big names and give up nothing or in the Howard trade take back no bad contracts and give a lotto protected first. As Moofs says there is something fishing with the NBA and the Lakers. It is safe to that roster will be together for 2 years but they will have a lot of free money

so it only took amare stoudamire not one, not two, not three, not even four, but TEN YEARS, to start playing defense. amazing!

here we are wondering when this crazy athletic mofo is gonna start playing some defense. 10 years later, he says he will. two questions i have is - is it bullsht? and can his body take the punishment?

Do you really have any doubt that it's bull?

I'm sure he means it, but NO ONE starts playing defense at age 30.

He said like almost the same thing when he first joined the Knicks too.

It is at least an earnest attempt at good PR for Stat. Finally he is acknowledging his flaws to the Knicks fan base and is trying to do something about being the odd man out on the front court.

If Stat's D and Post up doesn't improve, what's gonna happen to the Knicks is that they are effectively playing 4-4.5 on 5 on offense and defense depending on how Melo and Tyson Chandler are in the rotation. With his knees being uninsurable as it is, if the Knicks don't get far in the playoffs this year, he'll be the first guy under the bus courtesy of the Knicks media.

that fiba incident with darko last year??? might not be a one time thing

Gentlemen, Darko Milicic is willing to kill someone for his team
I’ll do whatever it takes, whatever I need to do to help this team. So now, if I have to go kill someone on the court, I’ll kill someone on the court

breakout year for jeremy evans? or just one daam good play

look where he jumps from to block and dunk, he's in another area code. he has no business blocking that shot or dunking that far from the basket with a defender in front of him. and then he has the nerve to deflect a pass on the other side of the court. god daam **** freaks lmao turiaf postered twice. he has potential to be a defensive monster

speaking of turiaf, this gif is appropriate. i think even he's impressed with evans

I watched that clip at least 40x... never gets old, couldnt stop laughing at the LAC bench.

Also nice to see Aaron Brooks is still a Laker killer... completely sh*t on them each time he touched the ball.

^ good luck with trading that guy, he's the second most untouchable contract in the league behind Kobe.

I hope he gets well soon. I'm starting to think that Stat is one of the few that could come back despite, rather than because of, microfracture surgery. The rest of the list looks frigging grim (by way of wikipedia):

"...most notably Anfernee Hardaway, Jason Kidd, Greg Oden, Allan Houston, Kenyon Martin, Tracy McGrady, Chris Webber, and Amar'e Stoudemire, MLB (Jeff Clement)..."

While Kenyon Martin and Jason Kidd kinda got away with it, none of the others did.

micro-fracture ain't nothing to **** with. Hardest and longest recovery I had to deal with out of all my knee surgeries. With the amount of knee issues Amare has had in his career he will never be truly back
