Very energetic... Excellent instincts... Pretty good athlete... Good rebounder and shot blocker... One of the best defenders in the league... Passes the ball well... Needs to develop some inside moves... Terrible shooting form... Doesn't score... Foul prone.

The Kings, who went 22-44 last season, compiled a West-worst 6-27 road record - one of several areas they're hoping to improve upon in 2012-13. Sacramento will also need to clamp down on defense after finishing last in the league in both opponent field-goal percentage (47.6) and points allowed (104.4).

"We have to surprise people because we're no one in the NBA," coach Keith Smart said. "We have to pull out all the stops to try to grow as a team."

If that's the lineup they use, pray the Bulls don't zone the heck out of the Kings or Reke/JJ/Cuz are hitting their iso jumpers.

An a-rod game thread to start the season should bring us some good luck!

I remember last season most game threads sucked and were created during the game, haha. We're off to a good start. I like the thread. :D

a-rod game threads are back! YES!

Cousins usually does well against the Bulls. Hope he can continue the trend.

Lets go KINGS!

The Bulls are a well coached defensive team but if the Kings want to show everyone how they are improved then this game should be very much winnable.

There is no excuses, we have enough defensive players to shut down the Bulls, if we don't then this is going to be a long season.

I'm in SF enjoying the parade, so hopefully I'll be able to catch the game at a sports bar. Wierd, you were supposed to be here too, slacker.

i think this game all depends on tyreke shooting. if he can hit his jumpers we stand a chance against their defense

This is the best time of the year for a sports fan. NFL, NCAA, and NBA! Man, it doesn't get any sweeter than this!

And James Johnson as well. If they start Reke/JJ as the floor spreading tandem I'm expecting a rough time for Cousins. I can't see how the Bulls don't just pack in the paint to start this one.

Starting 5: Thomas, Evans, johnson, Thompson and cousins. Smart said he knew that a while ago.

Just something that most of us knew/predicted.

Kings still play on CSNCA right? I don't see the game on the programming list.

Edit: Actually it's on CSNCA+ now, thats odd my DirecTV doesnt show the game in the list.
