I was running around like it was Christmas when I noticed that.

So happy the season is finally here. Although, the only game I'm interested in tonight is the Boston-Miami game.
Dallas doesn't have Dirk and the Lakers may not even have Kobe.

Posting from my phone because my powers out...so frustrated I'm not going to be able to watch Miami-Boston...probably wont be able to watch our season opener (if they don't postpone it)...why didn't Sandy come like a week earlier???

Btw I'm not being totally serious, because I do know that people have actually died from Sandy and that its done some pretty serious damage. I still like bitching about stupid things though lol.

Dang, Amare is out at least 6 weeks.

Even if he's on the Knicks, you gotta feel for him.

We'll have to see. If Saturday is the first game, expect the ticket prices to skyrocket for that game too.

I doubt tickets would rise with a last minute change to the schedule especially in just two days.

I said it before and I'll say it again, Bradley Beal is gonna be a really great player in this league. I could see him becoming a top 5 SG pretty soon.

Agreed. If we would've kept the pick, I was hoping that he'd fall to us.

Btw, did anyone hear Stern say "our concerns are with those who are impacted by Hurricane Katrina"? Come on Stern, You're better than that!

This Celtics/Heat game feels just like the ECF again. I really hope they don't cancel our opener.

It doesn't even feel like Wade is 1B anymore. It's like LBJ and friends.

Boston does not scare me at all. I'm glad they will most likely lose this game, allowing our opener to dictate the leader in the Atlantic division standings to start.

Miami is scary. You really have to keep the 3 point line defended at all times.

Miami looks in mid-season form. If they can (and they most likely will) get better, I don't think anyone really has a chance to beat them.

Nah, they are beatable. They have two finishers and nothing but shooters. Beating Miami means you have to really really be good at defense and have bigs to dominate the paint.

I think the Sixers, Pacers, Knicks, Celtics will give them fits throughout the season since they have the most pieces to truly guard their players.

I want to add us in there but we have a LONG way to go before we are good at defense to compete against Miami's offense.

^^I agree except for the part where you included philly among the teams that will give Miami fits because of their defense. Their defense actually sucks right now... probably more than ours.

They were impressive in the pre-season without Bynum. They can go small, they can run, they can go big.
