I love that lineup... Too bad no Lowry though :/

By the way I **** hate this lineup. Taking about a snoozer of a lineup and game. This is coming from someone who loves defense

Josh Smith isnt going to put a team like Houston over the top. Smith is more suited as a piece that can help a team that is missing a need. If he goes to Htown he will be overpaid to be a 7th 8th seed team at the most.

I can't think of a good lineup that would include Josh Smith.

Anyone?
Hell, he'd make a lineup with LeBron and Howard look bad.

Josh Smith is proof that advanced stats still need some work.

Advanced stats are fine he is proof that you cant always measure bball IQ and good decision making by stats. I'd like to see Philly make a run at him for a Bynum and Smith frontcourt.

You do know I'm one of the bigger advance stats guys around, right? :)

Josh Smith is just... he's a really weird player, and it doesn't seem like he should be able to get proper stats on a truly good team.

Nope, I'm not immune to employing the eye test.

This lineup can definitely be tweaked. What the heck was Marcus Morris doing starting? Where's Jones, Patterson, even Motiejunas? Toney Douglas is also a terrible pg, hate to say it but I'd rather have Machado there instead, its reall too bad they waived Livingston and not Douglas.

Going back to the PF situation, since we already have proven centers in Asik and Smith, why not play Motie at the 4 along with Jones and Patterson? I could see Motiejunas fiting in well at this position because of his post moves ability. It's ony been one game but my only gripe is the distribution of PT. Most of the guys with real potential are riding the pine and not seeing any action.

I'd rather have Bob Cousy out there.

Happy when they cut Livingston but completely forgot about Toney

Meh. For a minute, I had this thought of "oh, taj gibson might be available?"

Then I hit refresh and he was signed to a 36m extension.

He's 27 anyway...

So someone tried comparing Toney Douglas to Rafer Alston last night.

I understand people here didn't like Rafer, and he wasn't anything special by any means, but that's like comparing Smush Parker to Michael Jordan.

Literally made milk come out of nose...

Got a source? Or was it on TV? Wherever it was, t'was a good troll.

Toney Douglas is like a poor mans version of Nick Van Excel, after acquiring tunnel vision. I mean that in the most generous of terms. Douglas needs to work on his defense and hopefully he wouldn't bounce around the league like John Lucas III for 6 years before figuring it out.

people hate Alston because he keep missing the 3 and teardrop
for pg he actually pretty good on getting people the ball

i don't understand all these Douglas hate
what do you expect from him?
i didn't even think he will make the team
i thought he would be like the 13th or 14th man
only reason he made it is because of his guaranteed contract

^^that doesn't mean we can't hate him

I'm sure he is a nice guy, but him making the team over a better and more fun to watch/fan friendly Shaun Livingston gives us reason to hate him

Machado needs to get some burn next game to see if he can do better than abysmal

the years we had skip i was immature as hell, young and stupid, etc in high school. im sure some of the gray hairs i have right now is cuz of him. i couldnt stop rambling about his inability to hit a WIDE OPEN SHOT!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111111111 omg that brings back memories.

a game vs denver that went into overtime, they had diawara, who in his rookie year, shut down a veteran tmac!!! at the start of the overtime rafer gets the ball and shoots a 3, misses, gets his own rebound, and again shoots a 3, and misses. that angered me so much, if i was rich back then that tv would've been set on fire at the very least.

but anyway, yeah i realize shooting wasnt his skill, he was a good pg. def better than douglas

Skip was a decent PG. Good defender, competent shooter(his 3pt% is right above average) and a way above average playmaker. He did his job, i never understood the hate.

I feel like Mchale is trolling Morey.

Waived Scola? Didn't resign Dragic?

You got me 4 rookies? I wont play any of them. Payback.
