I've had enough with this team

Benitez blows balls. Literally.
We can't hit for our lives.
Morris needs to be dealt for hitting.
Feliz is the worst hitter in baseball. The dude swings at ANYTHING.
Sabean is an awful, outdated GM. We need to go YOUNG. We aren't going to win and we have no prospects. Bonds era is over(hard to admit).

Agree with Benitiz.

Agree with our lack of hitting. The lack of power stands out the most to me. Not just the lack of homeruns but even when we get singles they do not seem like we hit the ball hard.

Love to trade Morris but it will be a tough sell. He is older and making a lot of $$$$.

Feliz is horrible. Why does he try to pull everything?

I used to think Sabean was one of the best in the game. Now, it is really just time for the Giants to move on.

I honestly do not mind the Giants hitting the seller for the next 2-3 years if and only if they serriously put the time and money into developing prospects which they have let to show. Correct me if I am wrong but the last possition player the Giants drafted and who started opening day and earned the starting job with the Giants was Feliz. He was a free-agent draftee in 1994! That means it has been over a decade since the Giants have drafted a possition player that has earned a starting job. Worst minors system in all of baseball.

I would've been fine with a total rebuild this year. Don't sign any free agents long term, go with the minor leaguers, offer Bonds a 1-yr deal, release or trade Benitez, scout the heck out of the draft with all of your picks, and then next year make a huge splash.

Nope:

Feliz re-signed
Durham re-signed
Sign Roberts
Sign Zito

The only reasons I can think of for this crap is the all-star game and Sabean trying to save his butt.

You guys are going to be crawling back when Bonds explodes and Lincecum wins the Cy Young.

Playoffs.

Not Sabean's fault the owner wants the Bonds media extravaganza to be in SF... I mean, they put up with his shtick for what, 13 years now, they want to be involved when he breaks the HR record.

Sabean meanwhile has been trying to construct winning teams, and has had to deal prospects before he could get a long look at them on the major league level... you can blame Bonds or McGowan on this one, but Sabean's pulled off some great deals in the past, if you let him go once Bonds retires, your losing a great eye for young talent - remember that he's drafted those players who have become so good. And you gotta give good youth to get solid players in this league..

How great would it be if Nellie knew baseball too? He would inject some life into the ownership.

the 6 straight losses at home is a lot more embarrassing then back to back shutouts.

I think these fools have some kind of hatred for Matt Cain because everytime he pitches they cant score a damn run to save their life. The guy is pitching at an almost all star level and he is somehow 2-7.

I dont know how they went into the season thinking that these grandfathers could hit well enough for the Giants to contend. Rich Aurrilia wouldnt start on 90% of the teams in the MLB but we had the guy batting 3rd at one point.

I'm pretty much onboard with Warriorsrule on this one.

I understand why were signing all these old ass dudes
Obviously so bonds feels like were still "trying" to win.

What would Barry thinkg if it was him and a bunch of kids. dude would prolly wanna leave ASAP, hes only really doing this for the money at this point and to break that record.. for that sole reason he dropped a notch on my favorite player list and ive lost a ton of respect for the dude.

Theres nothing worse then seeing a routine line drive hit in his direction only to watch as he takes a HORRIBLE jump/Line on it as it goes all the way to the wall. I mean the dude is 42 years old attempting to play left field on two bad knees. Enough already its embarassing to me and i know he has to be embarassed.

I could sit here all day and rag on barry but its not really his fault. hes pimping the giants right now and the owners are too pussy to back down from him. Thinking he is some sort of cash cow when in reality that time has long gone. This season woulda been the perfect time to let him slide, The All star game was coming so the money was gonna be here anyway... oh well one more year of this madness then he will be someone elses burden.

All that being said barry is the best baseball player ive ever seen in my life (even before the steroid contereversy) but the dude is too damn old and him insisting on playing Left when kids like Fred Lewis rot on the bench just makes me wanna punch him in the neck

Not only is he on the DL but his D is not much better than Barry's and that is sad. At 27 years old, his D is not going to improve that much either. Lets face it, if guys like Frandsen, Dan Ort, Lewis, Linden, etc, etc, were any good, the Giants would sit Aurila, Durham, Winn, etc. But when the kids play, overall, they do not produce much better. Much more exciting to watch I agree, but the numbers are not that different.

I am going to say that it is very telling sign when at the halfway point of the season your team does not have one player with 50 or more RBI's.

another telling sign is that your best hitter is close to 44 years old.
