Like i said, stuck in the past. All of your posts are exactly the same, lamenting the way things are now longing for the good old days.

You have been crying about gentrification for years. Need a tissue?

Do I need a tissue?

Is that all you got?

You are going to have to be more creative than that if you want for me to respond to you next time.

Ok?

That's right, children, it's past your bed time. Off you go and no more bickering!

Don't be so hard on Wes_Tiny_Abe Tontoz, he's got that lovable village idiot quality about him, I personally enjoy his half-witted anecdotes, it livens the board up.

This is where you are wrong, I know this yup/gentrifier demographic better than any other demographic on the planet. I grew up with them. I could easily blend right in with them if I wanted to.

Golf, tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, horseback riding, swim team, skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, underage drinking etc...

I was right there side by side with them participating in the above extracurricular activities on a daily basis for years. The superiority they displayed towards each another was bad enough, but the superiority they displayed towards those they felt were beneath them was much much worse.

I hear you WTA. Except for the golf, tennis, lacrosse, field hockey, soccer, horseback riding, swim team, skateboarding, snowboarding, skiing, etc., I'm right there with you.

monte, you do some of your finest work in this thread.

Kidding aside, WTA has a point. Horseback riding back in the day was legit.

I would SO watch a reality show about WTA doing undercover sabotage of the DC gentrifiers.

EDIT: On my laptop at Starbucks.

Apologize for getting this up late. No Pants Metro Day started at 2pm. Hope it's not too late for WTA:

Wake me up when there's a No Clothes At All Metro Day. That could be an epic event. For that, I just might buy a farecard.

Here is an MPD photo from 29 years ago. :D

Just more proof that DC Natives and long term residents are decades ahead of all the inflated rent paying, wanna-be urban, gentrifying, attention seeking, recent arrival, transplants.

This is how MPD officers of the past would have dealt with today's recent arrival, attention seeking, gentrifying, transplant, scumbags. :D
