How so? All the Rockets need to do is add a top star in a couple years, and they're contenders. Everything else seems to be in place right now.

Would have done better if it wasn't for almost fouling out and sitting the 3rd quarter.
But the most important stat....Houston was down 10 points with Lin on the bench. Lin came back in, they cut the the lead and win....just like his time here with the Knicks. He was +23 tonight.
Rockets bench is trash though.

How small is the top tier? There isn't a single two guard I'd take over him not named Kobe or Wade and at this point I think I'd take him over a likely declining Wade. That condensed season, olympic summer, and offseason surgery isn't going to make him better.
