Am I the only one who can't stand Craig Bolerjack?

The guy still doesn't know how to call a basketball game. He's an ignorant homer, he's not nearly as funny as he thinks he is and he brings out the worst in Matt Harpring.

Am I in the minority here?

My favorite part of last nights broadcast was when Matt made sure Bolerjack saw the google earth caption zooming in whatever that town in Utah was. "You have to see this Craig! Google Earth! OMG"

I don't hate him. I try and tune him out though. Don't think he's a terrible homer though. He seems to be a fan of the team but not against the refs. I just don't expect there to be any more Hundlys or Hearns any more. They won't make it up the ladder.

I can't stand him at all, but he's not nearly as bad as Harpring. The world would be a much better place if Matty never made another joke or gave a player a nickname ever again.

I don't hate him, but he absolutely brings out the worst in Harpring. Eggs on all his stupid "jokes". Harpring's the one who thinks he's incredibly funny.

He doesn't drive me crazy, but I'm not a fan. And having listened to other team's announcers on League Pass, I actually think he is one of the most objective in the business. The Harpring thing isn't working, though. That is just what you get on local TV. The real talents make the move to the national scene. I will pick a national broadcast 1000x over the local one.

I just shut 'em off. Dallas' team weren't bad. The Clippers have the best guys these days.

Boler should stick to Football, but he and Matty are considerably better than some commenting teams in the NBA. Every time I start to hate on Boler, I remind myself that the alternative is probably Steve Brown, who, in my opinion, is the worst, most annoying broadcaster in Utah sports history. In fact, I will not watch any Jazz game where Brownie subs for Boler.

Almost every local broadcast team in the league is insufferable and unwatchable for their homerism. Sadly, while Boler and Harpring are clear homers and slightly annoying, they're better than most.

He's not great, but he's a pretty mild homer, at least relative to the majority of local NBA crews.

My biggest gripe with him by far is his total inability to call a 3 point shot. At least the past few seasons there are numerous times (I'd say at least 30 or so) where he will call a shot a 3 when the player is clearly inside the line, and then later say with a befuddled voice "oh, they called it a 2." It's like he hasn't learned to watch the refs hand to tell if it's a 3 or not, at least if his view is getting blocked.

I used to like them, but boy they were awful for the first two preseason games this year. They whined a ton and I literally thought they were going to go over to Griffin and perform oral on him right on the court. The man crush they have on his is disturbing.

I like Bolerjack a lot, especially with Ron Boone. I agree he brings the worst out of Harpring though.

Most teams are pretty biased though, especially the Spurs guys.

And ugh, Steve Brown is going to be calling tonight's and Saturday's games I'm betting since Bolerjack is calling a TCU @ WVU game on FOX Saturday afternoon.

I wish Locke could fill-in or something, I hate Steve Brown's play by play.

Yeah, I don't mind Bolerjack and thought he paired pretty well with Boone, but he absolutely brings out the worst in Harpring and vice versa.

Bolerjack is pretty corny alone, but paired with Harpring it gets borderline embarrassing. Boone tempered that a bit; plus I always enjoyed his half-finished thoughts where he would just trail off muttering.

I think Boler is OK. He has his good and bad moments. But I have seen a lot worse. I mean just watch Steve Brown I really do turn the sound of when he does a game. He is so bad it is not even funny.
