Hammers: Nov 2nd Bobcats Vs Pacers

Post#1 » by BigSlam » Sat Nov 3, 2012 1:35 am

Image = Kemba
Showed great hustle and really controlled the tempo of the game in our favor. Very solid three qtrs, dipped in the 4th though.

Image = Hendo
Good, not great, but good. Pretty consistent for the whole game and two huge defensive plays in the 4th when we really needed them.

Image = MKG
Box score (and Coach D not putting him in be damned) he looked real good and his box score would have looked a LOT better if the refs didn't "rookie" him.

Winner, winner chicken dinner.

Ladycat time!!

there's really nothing more I can add

3 - Kemba
2 - Hendo
1 - MKG
HM - Gordon for scoring some buckets when we were in a slump.

Oh and for some reason I have completely forgot how we called the worst player of the game, if there indeed was one, but Tyrus definitely deserves the award for tonight's performance.

gold kemba. 2/3rds of an all-star level game tonight
silver henderson. smart decisions with the ball down the stretch, and he was the other guy that was able to hit shots in the 1st half.
bronze MKG. can we just liquidate thomas somehow and give MKG #12, maybe coach won't notice?

brown frown: ugh, thomas. just disappear please

Gold - Kemba, hands down
Silver - Hendo, actually hit some 3s and played great D
Bronze - As much as I want to give it to MKG, I've got to give it to Mully for bringing the D and keeping the Pacer big men in check. Awful shooting night but 7 boards, 2 dimes, 2 blocks, and 2 steals.

oh yeah, brown frown.

oh and forgot to mention Haywood as a honorable mention. same case as MKG's - it might not show up in the statline, but Brendan banged some bodies around, made some smart fouls to keep Indiana from scoring and just did what a big center like he needs to do.

Kemba
Hendo
MKG

MKG could have been higher but he got no love from the refs or his coach

Gold- Kemba- Literally was a career night (aside from the triple double)

Silver- Hendo- Loved his game, showed great leadership and hit some big shots, was unselfish also.

Bronze- MKG- Why did this guy not play much in the secind half?, played nasty D, led the break and rebounded well...

Brown Frown- Tyrus...Needs to go.

The refs...No calls...high fendoff on Kemba, Hendo, Gordon flagrant and nearly every decision going their way; Dunlap was remarkably composed.

Honourable Mention:

Haywood- Fouled when he needed to, was ver vocal and played great D.

Sessions- Hit that big three and was a nice change of tempo from Kemba.

Gordon- Got hot when we needed him to and led us in spurts.

Gold- Kemba Walker
Dominated for three quarters.

Silver- Ramon Sessions
Was Huge in the fourth quarter. Can't believe nobody noticed this, but me. He either scored or assisted on almost every field goal in the fourth.

Bronze- Gerald Henderson
Was pretty solid scorer for most of game.

Gold: Kemba (kid's gone nuts)
Silver: Henderson (good offense game, but what is much more important: fine defense)
Bronze: Sessions (much needed asts and point late in the game, sober playmaking)

Gold: Kemba. Just great scoring and energy. Love his defense. Really gave me hope for the future.
Silver:
Silver: Hendo.
Bronze: Sessions.

Frown: TYRUS. I can not STAND him. Tried to start an amnesty chant at the game. Only caught on with a couple people. Every smart fan HATED him. God we should have amnestied and went after a better option.

A little confused why Jeff Taylor didn't play. Just coaches decision?
