What I love from what I've seen out of James Harden is the willingness to prove people wrong and I think Jeremy Lin complements Harden extremely well as they can play with the ball in their hands and without together. Lin now doesn't have to worry at all about being the man on this team, James Harden has stepped into the role and Lin is the perfect sidekick. Asik if he can put up numbers like he did tonight is going to make this team a tough-out in the playoffs and I think this is for sure a playoff team, just give them time to gel more and hopefully no injuries. Harden looks great and there was a reason he's on Team USA, the man can flat-out play.

Playing on the olympic team really makes it click for some of these guys. They go from really-good to superstar

harden on the team is a stress reliever for lin, he is now hitting his jumpers at a very high rate compared to him only make 2 out of 14 in the preseason.

Must be a confidence thing. It's not just Harden. Anthony Davis also seems to have come back better after being with the olypmic team in london.

Yeah, the best thing I notice about this game for Lin was that he seem so calm and knows when to let Harden just do his thing, the man is going to put up numbers this year and it seems this Rockets team just has a whole new attitude on the season already as this Hawks team can make the playoffs. I can't wait to see the Rockets get a real test coming up.

Still a way to go before we talk about Houston being playoff contenders. Just hope Patterson kicks on this year with an expanded role and Morris/Jones/D-Mo show some promise.

Still another piece away from playoff contention if the West plays out the way I think it is going to. if a team or two underachieves in the west, then maybe the Rockets might have a chance. Still way too early to know though, 2 games isn't enough to judge a team.

One thing I will say though, Rockets have a good amount of questions as a team. What Harden is doing is spectacular, but he won't keep this up the entire season. Others are going to have to step up, he can't bail you out every night.

Honestly, I think the Rockets are going to make the playoffs. They have Portland & Denver at home coming up which are two very winnable games for this new team. The swag is already showing for this team right now, plus the fact the Lakers look abysmal is just showing that starting out well really helps. The Rockets need to look at Power Forward the most glaring need on this team. It'll be interesting to see who the Rockets could add through a trade.

if Harden was traded to the heat, he would be the best player.

The guy is a beast.

I wanna see Harden against some tougher competition. Next few games are against Western conference teams, Portland, Denver, Memphis. I hope he stays efficient but expect a few off games. Heat match up on Nov 12 will be interesting to watch too.

I think the Rockets should look at getting Anderson Varejao, he would be a nice starting PF for this team, let Lin & Harden score the points and distribute the ball. Morey has made some shrewd moves.

Varejao is a little slow for the four in my opinion.

He shoots, penetrates, and is a better playmaker than Lebron.

Defense is hard to tell because Lebron is better, but he only tries for like 5 mins of the game.

This is just hatred and disrespect towards LeBron.

LeBron is the best defender in the NBA. Passes just as good as Harden, scorers better then Harden, has three MVP awards....a finals MVP.

True, I'm just trying to think of a player that could actually get traded to the Rockets. I think Al Harrington would be good and you know what, I think Al Jefferson is the perfect fit because he'll buy into what Kevin McHale is selling right away since McHale is the man that traded KG for Jefferson plus it's known they have a real close relationship with each other plus include the fact that Jefferson is an expiring it'll help out the team.

I'm a Lebron fan, but get real. He might be the best perimeter defender but not the best overall defender. That belongs to either Dwight, Chandler, or KG.

Dwight is the best low post defender, as is Chandler, KG is up in the second tier, LeBron can defend every position.
