The Clippers cut their first game turnovers in half to only have 11 tonight. For those concerned after the first game, this should be comforting to see that 20+ isn't necessarily the norm. We lost the rebound battle by 1. Rebounds are my thing and being outrebounded is one of my biggest pet peeves, but I couldn't care less when it's a wash.
Blake struggled again outside of the 3rd quarter, thankfully we have players like Crawford that can step up when our stars aren't bringing it. I still feel that Paul's shot isn't where it needs to be, but I'll blame that on the thumb. He still had an incredible game. The bench were in for extended times to the dismay of the fans, but I feel they were solid for the most part when you consider that the other team had 3 or 4 of their starters in. Hollins did what he was supposed to do (use his 6 fouls), but I would have preferred to have DJ in more. He got into early foul trouble, but it wasn't really an issue as the game progressed.
We have another game tomorrow night and thankfully our starters didn't have to log that many minutes tonight. Paul had 34, Blake had 33 and the others were under 26. The Dubs will be without Bogut, so that should be beneficial to us. Rush went down with a knee injury tonight that supposedly didn't look good. I don't know the details. For his sake and the Warriors, I hope there's no ligament damage.

THAT was beautiful
Cp was unreal 15:1
@JCrossover does it again
Odom 3 took me outta my seat jumping around
Feel for bled he doesn't play more. But it is what it is. We're fkn balls deep as a whole and I love it.

Re: Game 2: The Battle of Los Angeles Part I
quality win tonight.
i expect better from the lake show moving forward....but until then, we can only beat who is in front of us.
blake looks uncomfortable in my eyes....but i think he's going to be ok moving forward...the 1st 2 match ups were tough match ups for him...physical memphis team...length of Pau.
god the bench mob is so exciting to watch...barnes came in and didn't miss a beat.
let's collect the wins and move on.
I'm already thinking about tomorrow night.

You guys have an amazing squad .
Yall definitely a well oiled machine while we're still trying to find ourselves.
No excuses from me, you guys whooped our asses straight up.
I peeped a couple of y'all preseason games an am fully aware of Dre's improvement.
Sucks that the refs called a billion fouls on him and Dwight that
pretty much limited their minutes drastically.
Nonetheless , good game and I hope we can get y'all back on the next one![]()
P.S
Did anyone else hear Clipper Darrell screaming his trademark
" Lets Go Clippers" rally chant at the start of the game??? LMAO![]()
He was getting booed and after the 1st quarter, I never heard him again.
I hope he didn't get into any altercations with some Lakernation crazies.
Thanks. Refs dropped the ball on both ends at times, and it's frustrating as it disrupts the flow and can affect the outcome. I know that they are human, but damn lol. Nobody wants to feel like they got screwed out of a game. You want to win or lose based on your own merits not some outside factor.
Y'all will be solid, just have to work through the growing pains and get healthy. New players and trying to make the system work. The first step will be getting the monkey off your back, which would settle everyone down a little. Improving the bench would help a lot.
For us, we're still tinkering around with different line-ups and some of them work while others struggle a bit. Odom is still trying to get into shape and we're without Hill and Billups, so it's going to take some time for us to really know how we're going to look in the long run.

Solid win for Clips, man enough to give props where props are due. We got dealt with, meanwhile the Clips are easily in that top tier in the west. I think you guys will surge ahead of the Thunder in the conference, hell it wasn't like y'all wasn't tap'in that ass already anyway.
See ya on the rematch ! Hopefully we have our stuff together by then.

Re: Game 2: The Battle of Los Angeles Part I
My quick points:
-I don't really like Hollins... at all. I'd rather bring Turiaf first than him.
-Blake is struggling. He's so passive when he plays good (or maybe just taller) bigs.
-CP3 broke Steve Blake's ankles so bad.
-2nd unit looked awesome once again-- minus Odom on offense: he just looks so out-of-shape. lol
-Eventually what needs to happen is we start Barnes and Green becomes becomes a benchwarmer. Barnes, despite Kobe going off, played really good D against him. He also cuts to the basket and gets rebounds Blake and DJ should be getting.

Watched the replay of this last night, points I'd take from it:
- Awesome win, great team effort.
- I really want Blake to start get going, maybe just a getting used to the team thing? Where so deep it's like where not gonna need him around 20PPG which personally I don't like. I love Blake.
- DJ's putback was sick
- CP3/J Crossover's handles are amazing
