When: 8:30 PM ET, November 3, 2012
Where: AT&T Center, San Antonio, TX
Starting Lineups:
Jazz:
PG - Mo Williams
SG - Gordon Hayward
SF - Marvin Williams
PF - Paul Milsap
C - Al Jefferson
Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Daniel Green
SF - Kawhi Leonard
PF - Tim Duncan
C - Boris Diaw
I think a lot of people have the mistake of writing off this Jazz team but we can't make that mistake. This is a very deep and very big team.
The key to this one going to be controlling the paint, if we want to win we have to outscore them in the paint.
Go Spurs!!

Re: GT: Jazz vs. Spurs
shouldn't lose this game. Utah is on the 2nd game of b2b. They lost to New Orleans last night. Manu, I think, will be back for this game. We're also at home. All signs point to a win.
However, Utah might have playoff revenge on their mind.

Re: GT: Jazz vs. Spurs
You guys are favorites, of course.
Still, as Nolan said, we are pretty deep and young, and only Mo Williams player more than 30 min last night (31) so I think to be in a back to back, it's not pretty important to us.
I think we are deeper than last year, but we are not regular, and maybe we can name it a fight, or maybe you'll win easily.
good luck.

Looking like the playoffs again... nice stuff here
Lots of guys playing well, I like that Splitter and Diaw have had good minutes... couple bad TOs by Diaw, though

Re: GT: Jazz vs. Spurs
Nice win... the defense seems to be the main reason we've stayed right in these games and eventually pulled them out - right below has been pretty steady offense...
More chemistry and improvement from the off-season internally I think will really begin to show here
Still really think we need to add another big with significant agility and/or size that can be productive, though... Kenyon Martin's still out there, he needs to settle the hell down and just sign for the vet. min. with us.
Bonner playing big minutes against athletic/big teams is a bad thing in the long-term

Re: GT: Jazz vs. Spurs
Bonner should be a situational player on this team, play him against teams who don't have lots of athleticism, then you'll be fine. This was exposed in the OKC series on both ends, unfortunately (and in the Memphis series).
Playing him out of force has been horrible in the playoffs.
