Portland's handed the keys to Lillard and he's done damn well so far.

What impressed me is how he was able to turn around a bad game into a good game. Very few rookies have the ability to do that. Usually if rookies have a bad game, they can't shake it. He'll, even some vets have that problem.

I feel so sorry for Lillard.

Should become a Hall of Fame point guard with his talent and ability.

Unfortaunely as he plays for Portland I expect him to do both his knees and perhaps his back sometime in the near future.

This crap gets old. We get it, the Blazers have had bad luck with injuries.

You know, I find it really particularly funny this new trend from a certain, pack if you will, of fans trying to make snarky commentary about the Blazers injury luck. Considering Rubio's knee injury last spring, Love's broken hand off a pushup, and Brandon's ever iffy knees don't you think fans of the Timberwolves, like you are, of all people should remain quiet lest they tempt the same bad luck?

Didn't watch the game, why did Val only play 12 minutes tonight? Didn't seem to be foul trouble by the box score

Ruined my fantasy streak of double doubles :(

Ruined my fantasy streak of double doubles :(

He picked up 2 fouls in the first 4 minutes of the game, and sat for quite a while. We ended up making a bit of a comeback in the 3rd/4th with some of our bench players in, and just kind of stuck with some of those players. pretty sure he was only passed the ball 3 times in the whole game . He looked good at times, but I think fouling and not having many plays run for him is going to make him somewhat inconsistant in terms of box scores.

On a side note, I don't really understand the point in sitting players with 2 fouls in the first half, and what not. Rarely do you see players completely foul out. If a player is your best option at a position don't you want to have him on the court as much as possible? It would seem to me that letting a player play till he fouls out would maximize the amount of time on the court. I mean, why sit for a long time, and then only end up with 3 fouls at the end of the game? Maybe it's saving players for the end of games, but there's nothing inheirently better about the 4th quarter then any other quarter. 2pts in any quarter is still 2pts.

Any idea how Lamb and Perry Jones are gonna develop in OKC?

If Jones can play SF/PF, Durant will get his 35-38 minutes and Collison/Ibaka will get their 30-ish minutes combined at PF.

Lamb is behind Kevin Martin playing 25 minutes and Sefolosha playing 20 minutes.

I know OKC has a great track record of developing players but they're currently in win-now mode which means little to no burn for the rookies.

I expect Lamb will only get to play in blowouts barring injury. Jones will get some run, not much of a log jam in the 3/4 spots and he can go small.

Damian Lillard is now only the second player to ever score at least 20 and get at least 7 assists in his first 3 nba games. Oscar Robertson is the only other player to ever do that.

It looks like a one man race. Davis may be injured but once he starts playing again I highly doubt that he will resemble Lillard #s, especially consistently considering he's a young big. Lillard has the ball and it will be much easier for him to get his stats, providing he remains healthy. I'm just most impressed how Damian is doing it with such high efficiency. Congrats to Noah beating Chicago even w/o Davis.

Harrison Barnes is gonna be good. He made some clutch shots tonight.
