Very happy with the win, and my boy Bosh played out of his freaking mind. But 3:04 of this video
http://www.nba.com/games/20121103/DENMIA/gameinfo.html

Is the reason why Chris Bosh hasn't been a consistent double-double guy for Miami. On a play like that, at that critical time during the game, you can not let a guy who has been crashing the boards all night just have a free run to the boards like that. I'm sure it happens much more during a game, but I decided to watch the replay and see why he was so open on the rebound, Chris didn't hustle at all or put a body on the manimal. I don't want to hate on him too much but we get that rebound and it's almost game over.

That being said Bosh was the only reason we were actually in the game, 3 quarters through. He's been excellent and his mid range jumper has become even more silky than it has been in the past, and he's not settling for it too often, he's getting to the rack which is nice. He started off last season amazingly too, averaging about 24ppg over the first 10 games, but hopefully he can keep it up this time.

Also if anyone can find the HEAT radio commentary teams, Ray Allen call I'd much appreciate it. The play by play announcer on the radio would of gone off, I love that guy.

Some numbers to be concerned about, 72 points in the paint given up and out-rebounded 47-32.

Denver is a better team than their record indicates though, so I wouldn't worry TOO much. Good win. Awesome shot from Ray, awesome performance by Bosh, James and Wade just did what they do.

denver had tough start, its always the case western teams on trips to eastern conference rack up losses. And similarily, eastern teams going to trips to western conference rack up losses.
denver first 3 games were away to eastern conference sides.

Last year on our western tripes we finished with 3 wins 6 losses. Now from novemeber 11 to novemeber 17 we have trip away to western conference sides ( memphis, houston, clippers, denver and phoenix).
I see us racking up some losses there.

My Thoughts:

I love Ray allen playing for us
Chris Bosh is loving this new system
We won't keep teams to low scores with this setup but the games will be fun
Joel playing will keep scores down but he will kill our offense
UD is finished
Wade is playing some great defense - which makes up for his below average start on offense
Mario has to keep applying pressure for steals
Why isn't Cole being brought on to do the same
Lebron doesn't want to lose, ever.
Battier is knocking down shots well - shame he's not a few inches taller to become our legit center.
Faried or McGee would suit our team well as replacements for UD and Joel.
We should be worried about our lack of size inside but ecstatic about our speed and attacking flow
Can we find a trade that'll give us someone off the bench who can play a similar D to Joel but with some O?
Bad situation that we can't trade UD (because of what that would mean to the Franchise) but that he's finished as a productive Heat player.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

This. Our defense always had three-pointers as its weakspot since we hedge and thus rotate so much and hard and are so keen on protecting the paint, that we're bound to give up some open threes. But Denver was able to take walks in our paint and if they missed, received plenty of second chances. It was freaking disgusting to watch and if it wasn't for a big shot by Ray, this would be another loss because of our lackadaisical defense. I know we're gonna coast through some games, but after getting embarassed in New York for a lack of effort, I had expected us to bounce back much stronger than this.

I disagree with Wade doing what he does. Bosh was outstanding and LeBron had the night you could expect from him (even though he was a little passive at times too), but Wade looked lost and disengaged out there. Let alone the fact that his shot attempts are ridiculously low, but he's just not driving anymore. Last season, when he was on a bad leg and constantly injured he attacked more than he did this season so far. It's his freaking game to either attack and cut or post-up, otherwise he's not efficient for us because he's just not a shooter. So Dwyane, you either get Ray Allen's jumper or you attack the basket like you used to and stop piggybacking LeBron and CB. I'd say the latter is far more realistic.

I'll still blame it on rust, but he looks like a shell of his former self out there so far.

All-Star break is when there should be some evaluation. Lots of rust here and there, the defense is also bad.

One thing is to give up a lot of 3's, because that's honestly the system. But guys aren't even there to contest. But we have always been solid when it comes to the paint.... 72 points given up in the paint is ALARMING.

And are people really giving LeBron "heat" for passing the ball? I thought this would all stop. What the hell? They are still trying to hate on this guy despite all he went through last year. Getting a ring stops the ring jokes I guess, but not the clutch jokes. I didn't even think "OH NO HE PASSED IT" or something. Even if Ray missed it with LBJ giving it to him, I'd live with that BIG TIME.

To me, it's easy to see why people rag on him for not taking that shot. If LBJ had taken that shot, it would have been a contested shot against a double team and he would likely miss. Instead, LBJ made the right play and the Heat got the win as a result.

I wouldn't have had a problem with Ray missing it either but from what I've seen, most agree it was the "right play" (go figure, Ray nailed it) so that seems to be a non-story as it should be. This is a sweet position to be in...double team Lebron or leave Ray Ray open for the 3. This dilemma should bring plenty more wins this season.

What kind of idiot would take a shot over two guys instead of passing to an open shooter who is the best shooter of all time?
