Hey, guys, was looking for some help.

Post#1 » by Mobby » Sun Nov 4, 2012 9:19 pm

I'm in an 9cat, h2h, 8-team league with some buddies; we play with a GGFFC, 3 util, and 4 bench. We play with 4 adds a week and a 2 day waiver wire with a day-to-day lineup. My team's solid in some areas, but I'm not entirely confident in my group right now. Perhaps you guys can provide some insight?

Chris Paul
Steph Curry
Damian Lillard
Jose Calderon
JJ Redick
Rudy Gay
Ersan Ilyasova
Dirk Nowitzki
Al Jefferson
Roy Hibbert
Andrew Bynum
Andrew Bogut

I've been thinking about dropping Bogut since he'll be severely limited till "at least December," and with an 8 team league, I'm thinking there's enough players out there to make it worth it. I'm also almost definitely going to drop Calderon as soon as this week ends. Any other pointers? Should I drop Bogut + Calderon?

These are the players available. If you're thinking someone further out on the rankings, I'll tell you how that's looking:

Dunleavy
Mo Williams
Jason Richardson
Jamal Crawford
Jason Kidd
DeShawn Stevenson
Steve Novak
Lou Williams
Darren Collison
Kawhi Leonard
CJ Watson
Danny Green
Greg Stiemsma
Larry Sanders
OJ Mayo
Greg Smith
Ramon Sessions
Al-Farouq Aminu
Kevin Seraphin
Gerald Henderson
David West
E'Twaun Moore
Nate Robinson
Zaza Pachulia
Jarrett Jack

I would probably get rid of Calderon for Darren Collison. He's getting starters minutes and has been playing well. Not sure what to do with Bogut. I have him on my team too, but have him stashed on my IR spot until he starts getting more minutes.

Thanks guys, I think I'll be dropping Calderon and Bogut for sure. Picking up Collison and Williams sounds like a good idea. I'm definitely holding onto Dirk as it seems like I won't be missing him for too long, and Bogut just hasn't shown enough that I believe he'd be worth it once he comes back to full-time, so he's out. I want to hold onto Redick considering Hedo's out and Jameer seems relatively injured, so JJ should be picking up the usage.

Anyone else want to weigh in?

That's sounds good

Ride out redick , but with 8 teams there will always be good players on waiver that's why I suggested dropping Dirk

I guess there's no logic in that one; I'm just scared of regretting it. >_>
