Bowen's Breakdown. Watch what he says about the safety staying disciplined and deep when the safety is tempted to cheat towards the line of scrimmage against Chris Johnson when he takes the ball.

Bears score 51 points in win versus Titans.

GOOD:

The Defense dominated.

Charles "Peanut" Tillman with 9 tackles & 4 forced fumbles today. Nobody in the NFL is better than him at punching the ball out.

Cutler 19/26 229 yards 3 TDs 0 INTs.

Marshall 9 REC 122 yards 3 TDs.

Forte 12 CAR 103 yards 1 TD.

Hester returns a long punt return.

BAD:

O-LINE continues to struggle.

I HATE THE EMPTY BACKFIELD SET.

Playcalling was still a problem at times.

Chicago Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton was taken to the locker room in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans with an undisclosed injury.

Melton, who entered the game second on the Bears with 4.5 sacks, was on the field to start the second half.

No announcement was made in the press box regarding the injury as the Bears went into halftime with a 31-5 lead over the Tennessee Titans.

Meantime, Bears defensive end Israel Idonije suffered a left leg injury earlier in the second quarter while attempting to tackle Titans running back Chris Johnson, but he did return to the field for the final defensive play of the half.

I didn't even know that Melton was taken out the game.

Play calling and the O-Line were the biggest problems.

The online is much worse than I thought it would be. I think another year to gel along with no 7-step drops alone would show improvement. I guess I was wrong.

Yea, the play-calling is getting worse game by game.

Cutler needed this game for his confidence. Nice to see us click on both sides of the football. Sucks that we gave up that long run at the end of the game though.

The 2nd string Defense was in the game.

playcalling, eh, its not like Bill Walsh out there, but that doesn't mean your offense has to be pathetic against poor teams. The guys on the field can't execute. They aren't making anything work. The O-line is probably fatally flawed, and has a great deal to do with the limited playcalling because they can't execute a proper game plan. This game was fun, but very discouraging if you are Superbowl or bust.

The Bears have their problems, but so does every team in the NFL. Yeah, some elite teams might be more well-rounded than the Bears, but with our defense, special teams, and running game we could beat any team in the NFL in a playoff game.

We need a competent passing game.

Like fleet correctly said, we are not Superbowl or bust yet.

Nobody in the NFL is this season.

That said, this season would be disappointing if we aren't able to make it out of the first round, or make some sort of impact in the playoffs.

The play calling is bad but I don't think it's getting worse. Good win though, can't wait to see alshon back out there.

Im with fleet. Play calling is bad because the offensive line is bad. They can't handle the plays we want to run.

What a beast of a game. Tillman for MVP. :D

Fun facts: Last time a defensive player won was in '86, Lawrence Taylor.

A secondary player has never won an MVP.

Mark Moseley, placekicker, won it in '82 after coming through in the clutch against the Giants to clinch their first playoff berth since '76.

Lets hope we keep this up against the Texans.
