Avlies and Gomes traded in Indians for RHP Esmil Rogers

Yan Gomes had a .631 OPS and a -0.2 fWAR for the Jays last season. He was terrible.

Somebody had to say it. Only real player we gave up was Aviles. He was a borderline starter. If we released Yan Gomes to make room for a trade/protection from rule 5 I'd be fine with that.

They also made a big deal out of the fact Buck was very careful in his use of them as well. He would not make them warm up unless he really thought he was going to use them.
