No, but it is unlikely Vesely will ever miss fifteen shots in a game either. Or post a lower TS% than Jordan Crawford. (See Kemba's rookie season for more lowlights)

Walker is improving, Vesely will be joining Pecherov on some Euro team in a few years

Nash has a small Leg fracture, the West is pretty open now.

Faried I'm not worried about at all, if he focuses purely on rebounding he'll be fine. He's a future all star IMO.

Faired is NOT a future all star. When the enthusiasm of his first season wears off people will start to realise he is a 6-7 pf who gets mauled by bigger stronger forward.

Seeing Lillard flat-out dominate makes me a sad panda. Not that I think Beal will be a bust but just how much excitement teams that picked before and after us are having with their rookies.

And we, yet again, have to play the waiting game. Even when we get the 1st pick, we have to play the damn waiting game.

I just want 1 damn player who is supposed to be really good, steps onto the court, is really good and stays really good.

Lillard with 20 and 9 in win for POR over HOU. Seems like he outplayed Lin. Basically in 3 games hes averaging 22 and 9. I envy POR. Looks like they got the 2nd best player in draft behind Davis.

Brandon Jennings just hit an amazing shot with .7s remaining after Kyrie tied the game. Bucks win.

Wow.

They cooled off Harden and Lin. Got this post from the POR board's game thread:

Moonbeam wrote:Huge win for Portland! LaMarcus had his best game yet, Lillard finished off wonderfully after a shaky start, Wesley had some big plays, Batum keyed the huge 3rd quarter run, Hickson took it inside when nobody else seemed to want to, Barton showed some flash, Leonard threw his body around, and Nolan threw the ball away! Great game.

Barton's debut: 5 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block, 2 turnovers in 15:49. Only shot 2-7 FG, but was 1-3 3PT.

Another of the guys like Crowder, who many of us wanted because we knew he could be a good player for Washington to draft. Barton was drafted well after Satoransky. :(

Great draft picks by Portland. Lillard is for real and a sure all star, starting as early perhaps as this season. Meyers Leonard is intelligent, athletic, and once he gets strength at his height will be a positive contributor. I like Barton's total game. I love big guards who can do a little bit of everything, such as scoring, rebounding, and distributing like a PG. Barton does it all. I can't stand EG for not picking him at 32.
The Wizards shoukd have drafted Derik Queen

I told you so :banghead:

Yeah, I feel your pain. I also think Beal will turn out to be a good player. But, it would be nice to have that excitement right away of knowing that you have a great player.

George Karl has a great reputation and he has coached a team all the way to the Finals, but I think he lets Danilo Gallinari kill the Nuggets. Last season, Al Harrington was allowed to jack shots, also. I am not as confident in his coaching any more, but I know George Karl is a HOF coach.

Faried can grab enough rebounds and Faried score enough points from put backs, lob dunks, and made face up shots to make an all star team. I agree with Induveca. Faried led the NCAA in rebounding consecutive seasons and broke records over four years at Moorhead State. He is no flash in the pan. He is the closest thing to HOFer Dennis Rodman there is in the league.

If he ever get minutes from Coach Karl, Faried can achieve a double-double every night with added blocks and steals.

Waiters has hit five 3s in the CLE/LAC game, with 7 mins to go in the 3Q.

he's streaky as a shooter but he has more offense currently then Beal, i think thats a given. Surprised the cavs are doing it AT the clips though.

I'm struck by the parity so far. CLE was beating LAC last night...enjoying free league pass
while it lasts, but couldn't manage to stay up til the end.

I've grown not to like the Clippers although it would have been better for the Wiz
for CLE to lose.

grammar quibble - couldn't manage to stay up UNTIL the end is a strange yet ultimately positive outcome. not managing to stay up TO the end is a problem that certain PEDs would benefit.

Wait a minute, is the end the top floor or the finish line?
