Yup, we're defently playing in a faster pace this year, Spo said in training camp he wants us to up the tempo. that's part of the reason for the high scores in our games.

I doubt it'll last. This is just like last year. We came out of the gate blazing fast, running teams out of the gym. Then our pace just got slower and slower and slower as guys got tired. Haberstroh had a great article charting the possessions per game or something like and showing how we skyrocketed and then just plummeted and then stayed low after that for the rest of the year basically.

Running and gunning for an entire season is tiresome. Not only that, but teams will eventually make a concerted effort to get back on defense.

With Rashard and Ray, we are better equipped to do it, but I won't be surprised if our pace eventually slows down as the season goes on.

Solid win for us, nothing to get too excited about. The Suns are not a good team. They have some nice players such as Dragic (who I've always been a fan of), Scola, Gortat and Dudley but a lot of stupid boneheads who kill their play on both ends of the floor. We still showed too many gaps defensively, especially in terms of letting Phoenix attack the middle and not helping out early enough. The positives from last night were the good ball and man movement and Wade's jump shot, which finally seems to come around again.

Easy fella it was one game, I just hope Wade doesnt fall in love with that jumpshot because he can easily miss all of them in a game.

That's why I used the word "seems". Also, my assumption was based on his improved mechanics and rhythm over the first four games and not him hitting many against Phoenix.
